Lawsy...anyone who has followed “gun issues” for any period of time easily understands that “total elimination” (at least for the law-abiding) is the end game. Only an idiot would believe otherwise.

I think it is excellent that the left has come out of it’s shell. They DO want Socialism, unrestricted abortion even after birth, and A TOTAL GUN BAN.
I think we should help them spread the truth of their true desires to the voting public. They have been too shy in the past, hiding their true intentions;
-”We are not coming for your guns”,
-”We don’t want socialized medicine”,
-”We don’t want unrestricted abortions after the second term”....
They lie to hide their agenda in the past, and that is what got them elected. We need everyone who is even thinking of voting democrat to know the true agenda of their party.

If guns were “banned” democrats wouldn’t be able to leave the house.
I know it’s tough for some people to understand (although most here do understand), but there are literally MILLIONS of gun owners who still vote Democrat, for various reasons (unions, tribal, LGBT, etc.). The Dems fully understand it, and have found out the hard way, several times, in the past few decades what happens when they go too far on gun control. So they hide it, but, being Democrats, eventually they can’t control their emotions.
What many people here probably do not realize is that the Democrats, as far as what they want to do to this country, have NOT changed, not one bit, in at least the past 40 years, but what’s happening now is that they’re so mad at Trump that they’re taking off their masks and letting the country, more or less, see who they really are.
It’s incredible - we don’t have look like kooks and paranoid nutcases trying to explain to people who the Democrats are anymore, they’re doing it themselves!

The excuse is that there isn't a total gun ban in Chicago's neighbors, so Chicago citizens can travel to areas close to Chicago that do sell guns.

Therefore, a single gun legally sold means an illegal gun somewhere else.
