I was in the eye of Andrew 1992. I was at the ER in town hospital. I saw 15 body bags come through. at the end of the day they reported 3 deaths. My conclusion is for some reason we do not get the truth. They don’t report the truth.
They must have Top weather info. I was supposed to go to the Grand Bahama Saturday Aug 31. We were told Fri aug 30th @ 3pm the info of cruise on Norwegian sky was Canceled or what? They said, we were rerouted to Cozumel. Not till Saturday night did we find out we were going to Key West also. The other couple going with us,
are from White Springs Fl. They had to Cancel because they had the whole State in Emergency, gas was sparse. For them to get down to Miami Port, would have been chaos. That day of embarking was the day that the storm was heading up to Jacksonville, towards their house also.
with many phone calls. Norwegian told them they would not refund their money.
Act of God. Not even for that. So,they paid 1400. (excursions, dinner) they will get 600.00 back. Still not good enough.
WARNING: pay extra for Ins. on Cancelation. They will go no matter what.
