Of course the house has GPS coordinates. What is a GPS address? What does having electricity have to do with locating the house?
Yeah, that whole “he shot a rifle through the back window of the car WHILE IT WAS MOVING” thing sounds like BS to me too.

If I read it right, the guy never stopped his Honda/Toyota Camry/Toyota Tercel/Toyota Truck, so were the cops outside their vehicle, when they were shot? If they were, why were they out of their vehicle if the driver hadn’t come to a complete stop? Or did he shoot them while all the vehicles were still moving?
So, they’re alleging that the was still moving, turned around in the driver seat, fired through the back windshield and injured the two officers. Who fell in line with the chase after those initial cops were shot?
Do your own scenario. Find and empty parking lot with the lanes between the parking spots, to simulate a road. Now, come to a slow roll, foot off the gas and brake pedals. Turn around in your driver seat and simulate holding up a rifle and being able to fire it, while still maintaining control of your vehicle.
Maybe it’s possible. I don’t know. Be nice to find out.
What I don’t understand is if they were having such a problem of finding his house, why the police didn’t make arrangements to have one of the neighbors who had called, either meet them somewhere, or come to the police station so that a plainclothes policeman could ride with the neighbor past the house so they could point it out. How hard would that have been?

And the police not being able to find the address does happen. He may not have had a mailbox by the road or had numbers displayed on the house.

These days your electric meter has a GPS address, they started doing that a few years ago when they started installing smart meters.

Actually everything is becoming more clear and I do believe he was targeted for the stop. Let me explain. He threatened a neighbor and she told the cops about it. Shooting animals from a rooftop, cops were told about that.Lived in a house with no electricity or running water. I think Texas has a new task force investigating this type of behavior. Could very have been what transpired.
