This week on Fox News, host Neil Cavuto blasted President Donald Trump‘s criticism of the network in a monologue dubbed “Common Sense” that he delivered on Thursday. Cavuto claims that the president makes clear that “to fact check him is to be all but dead to him” and that “my job is to cover you, not fawn over you.”
The host of the right-leaning network seemed to have had enough of Trump’s backsliding every time the network reports on something negative. “First of all, Mr. President, we don’t work for you.” he declared. “I don’t work for you.”

Cavuto outed himself on this one. If he was what he claimed - a non-partisan reporter - he wouldn’t have claimed the shame.
Had Cavuto made his point in 5-10 seconds, he would be better received, than to rant for 5-10 minutes saying the same thing repeatedly. I now consider his rant to have been a venting of arrogance than substantive.

FACT is that, either directly or indirectly, FOX news does work for Trump. But, that’s kind of misleading, so... let me explain....
The ONLY REASON that FOX became and remains number one in the cable news race, is because FOX is NOT the other guys; iow, FOX is not CNN or MSNBC or ABC/CBS/NBC and others. FOX is number one because it was or is perceived as not being left-leaning and is a bit right-of-center when it comes to its political slant. And, it’s closer to doing reporting than being a mouthpiece for a political agenda, like CNN and MSNBC.
That being said, it’s because of its center-right slant in reporting and in commentating, that FOX became number one. IOW, its republicans and conservatives that made FOX what it is, which means that, FOX works for that kind of viewership, and that viewership SUPPORTS Trump. So, directly and indirectly, FOX does work for the conservative audience, and that audience has drawn Trump to it, so, Cavuto has it all wrong. Without Trump being a fan, chances are that FOX could lose a huge portion of its audience. So, Cavuto, YOU do work for Trump, although you’re too hard-headed to admit it.
Yeah, well, thats because FOXNews sucks.
I don’t remember Neil mouthing off to Obama when he attacked FoxNews.
Trump is a big boy and can take a jab from Neil Cavuto.
