If Justice is not done then I think we can assume that the Trump era is over, that reversion to the mean will occur instantly when Trump departs the Presidency and that if Justice is Not Done that will happen in 2021.

So far there are no indications that justice will be done. Whether or not Comey could have been convicted as a result of his leaking of classified information and/or other crimes should not have deterred the DOJ from charging him. He violated our laws and should be held to account regardless of whether a conviction was likely or not.

The vaunted concept of equal justice under the law is a total farce.

The DOJ is serving itself, not the American people.

If by "justice" you mean throwing a score of these creeps in jail (Comey, Brennan, Lynch, Rosenstein, Strzok, Page, Mueller, Senator Warner, Adam Schiff, Rice, Samantha Power, etc.), getting justice will not deter the globalists. When Trump leaves office, the globalists have the same position regardless of how "the law" treats the tip of the iceberg.

Reversion to the mean will happen instantly when Trump departs, unless the people make the effort to keep the government in check.

One thing that's been 100% clear is that the Judiciary is out of control, most distressing a good number who were appointed by Republicans. President Trump has played into the hands of this out-of-control situation. By announcing what he's going to do ahead of time (which is the exact opposite of a campaign promise not to do so), he gives Deep State operatives (which is almost everyone connected to gov and politics in DC) time and opportunity to stop him. Federal judges are even used to stop states from implementing laws that have nothing to do with the feds.

I don't know how that can be unraveled now. It just might be the biggest mistake of President Trump's administration....giving the Judiciary time and opportunity to stop his initiatives. JMHO

Reversion to the mean occurred immediately after Ronald Reagan left office in January 1989.

I agree. I think we are at a point where the President can no longer wash his hands of DOJ lack of prosecution. If Comey et al walk I'm not sure the President will be reelected in 2020. You can put blame on Sessions and Barr and Rosenstein and Wray only for so long. Ultimately all of those people work directly for the President and it's his responsibility to make sure the laws of the land are followed.

It's way past time to start putting many people in jail. This article may sound profound but myself and others here have been saying this exact thing for close to two years. Nothing the President can do will matter in the long run if these criminals are not locked up. I think the reality of this situation is starting to sink in with the base.
