MPD: At least 10 shot at Ladd Peebles Stadium after HS football game (Mobile ALabama)

Mobile Police say at least 10 people have been shot at Ladd Peebles Stadium. Police say the age of those injured ranges from 15 to 18. Mobile Fire-Rescue confirms 10 people were transported to area hospitals. The five patients transported by MFRD were taken to the hospital in critical condition, but with non-life threatening injuries. ..... snip.... Three other patients were transported to the hospital via private ambulance service and two others were driven to the hospital by private vehicle.

I think Battiste is a pretty good guy. We’re not friends or anything, but I’ve known him for many years. He can’t be expected to change a culture. They do usually catch the perpetrators, but almost inevitably they have a rap sheet pages long. Battiste, Barber, and DA Ashley Rich have all complained that our judges have a catch and release policy.
