Only the audaciously arrogant fired FBI Director James Comey would demand the equivalent of an apology in the wake of a blistering denunciation of his actions by the Justice Department’s inspector general Thursday.
As usual, Comey has it backwards. Comey is the one who owes the American public a sincere apology for abusing his position as FBI director, violating government rules, concealing information from his former agency, leaking sensitive documents without authorization, mismarking memos without classification banners, improperly retaining records in an unsecured location, failing to surrender those records to the FBI, and assuming “carte blanche authority” he did not have.
All of this is contained in the IG’s report disparaging Comey’s behavior. Yet, the fired director has chosen to play the victim by tweeting, “I don’t need a public apology from those who defamed me, but a quick message with a ‘sorry we lied about you’ would be nice.”
Comey is not a casualty of lies. He is the richly-deserved recipient of an unprecedented condemnation meticulously spelled out in the report. He victimized himself through his repeated acts of wrongdoing. He is lucky he was not indicted. Yet.
Theft of government documents
Comey has always insisted that the seven memos he composed about conversations he allegedly had with President Trump were his own personal documents. This was absurd, of course. These memos were written in the course and scope of his employment as FBI director. He spoke with the president in his capacity as head of the bureau.
Sure enough, the IG found that “Comey’s characterization of the Memos as personal records finds no support in the law and is wholly incompatible with the plain language of the statutes, regulations, and policies defining Federal records, and the terms of Comey’s FBI Employment Agreements.”

If Nobody is ever punished then I would suspect people’s families have been threatened. We will never know but it’s not over yet. They better do something about the domestic spying !

Logic, like construction, is based on a foundation of integrity, honesty, reality (like the immutable laws of nature).
A clear indication that Comey is a hardcore Lefty is his demonstration that his logic is not based on integrity but instead on the Leftist system of rules that always result in a victory for the Left.
For example, if you are cheating, blame your accusers of running a system that is rigged (therefore you are forced to cheat to survive said system).
If you are a person of color and are accused of cheating, accuse your accusers of running a system that is institutionally racist (therefore they again have forced you to cheat to survive).
If you are James Comey and have been accused of disgracing your office and your accusers are demanding an apology, accuse your accusers of defaming you and demand that they apologize.
Comey is living by the Left's rules where you can have your own reality and your own truth.
All that matters is winning (that the Left wins, that is).
When you can have your own truth, there's no reason why you can't define integrity such that you are always the one who is wronged...always the one who deserves to win.
This system--the Left's system--will not win in the end, because it is not based on honesty, integrity, and/or the laws of nature.
You have to be brainwashed to honestly believe what they Left believes. I wonder a lot lately if this isn't the "strong delusion" (or part of it) that the Bible speaks of (2 Thessalonians 2:11-13).

Honesty and integrity are two things James Comey and his fellow travelers on the left do not have nor will they ever have.
Sadly I understand that and when Wray is replaced with a patriot and honest person it’ll be a start on the road to recovery.
What shocks me about Comey and the Left is that they don't see or have any shame about their violation of the rules of logic (which have been around since the days of ancient Greece, if not the days of Noah).
I think they have to be brainwashed not to see the error of their ways.

And just because Trump is keeping his own counsel on an issue, it’s foolish to assume he’s uninformed.
Trump is all about timing and misdirection. Leaks happen. FISA fraud is infinitely more serious, a direct attack our rights under the Constitution. I’d much prefer to see swampters nailed for FISA abuse than leaking.
A little “have to” apology isn’t going to do it.

No, he doesn’t owe America an apology. He owes us a 20 year stint in prison.
James Comey owes America prison time...a lot of it.
The only thing this guy “owes” is 25-40 years in a Federal Penitentiary with no parole.
And that is lenient.
