The initial report was the running lights were not on. People in the other boat say theirs WERE on and O’Leary’s boat had none.

Or was O’Leary driving, took off long enough for his wife to take the wheel, return to the scene and tell the cops that she was driving?

Chances are... They were all drinking. The attorneys will keep any of them from spending any time behind bars. They will probably assign a percentage of blame to each pilot, and the attorneys will divvy up the money from the insurance companies.
