I agree 100%. Barr has a lot of explaining to do to the American public.
They are not going to prosecute on this matter, but he has committed other crimes. Maybe they will prosecute on those.

But where does it rank severity?
Some criminal acts are punishable by death.
Some are punished with a slap on the wrist and told you are a bad boy.
Comey is not going to be prosecuted unless he can be tagged with a serious crime.
That said, it is my opinion that he should be charged with everything imaginable, big and small, until he is ruined, just as he did to General Flynn.
The reason that will not happen is that the present administration has principles whereas the last administration had none.

According to the Inspector General (who can not prosecute), Comey did not leak classified info, therefore nothing illegal on that score. Only that he broke FBI "policies."
Meaning, there is nothing there for AG Barr to prosecute him on.
The FISA stuff is an entirely different issue. We'll see.

This is basically giving any FBI/CIA political the right to attempt to illegally spur a coup via a Special Counsel against the duly elected President of the United States of America.
Barr better get to work and start putting people in jail.

Now it’s officially OK for FBI agents to take classified documents - even related to the President - home and leak them to the press. Have at it!
This was bad, but small potatoes compared to FISA abuse. FISA abuse must be punished, or else we must choose between the surveillance state and national security - black and white.
Comey told Trump stuff and “wanted to spring that on Trump just to see his reaction. Just to see his face.”
Remember this was the DAY AFTER the Obama-directed meeting of all of the bad Cabinet actors and Directors at the White House. Comey was completing an Action Item directed by that former White Hut resident. Like telling your son to take out the trash.
This scheme was straight out of a Breaking Bad episode, where the DEA sent some pics of cash and drums to Walt while he was under surveillance. That flushed Walt out to go check on the hidden drummed cash location, and was followed.
The Ooobomma and Brennan action squad had our President-Elect under full surveillance, they were all watching to see who Trump contacted in a panic after the Comey visit.
Only problem was, the Comey trick was like the others tried on Trump and his people: they didn’t bite, because they weren’t guilty or corrupt.
