Two cameras that malfunctioned outside the jail cell where financier Jeffrey Epstein died as he awaited trial on sex-trafficking charges have been sent to an FBI crime lab for examination, a law enforcement source told Reuters.
Epsteins lawyers Reid Weingarten and Martin Weinberg told U.S. District Judge Richard Berman in Manhattan on Tuesday they had doubts about the New York City chief medical examiners conclusion that their client killed himself.
The two cameras were within view of the Manhattan jail cell where he was found dead on Aug. 10. A source earlier told Reuters two jail guards failed to follow a procedure overnight to make separate checks on all prisoners every 30 minutes.

guards were asleep, cameras not working ... on and on *sigh*
Not only have we been told the cameras stopped working, but also that if they were working they wouldn’t have filmed inside the cell.
Why wouldn’t they want to film the prisoners?
Is that like when the FBI deposed Hillary?
Prosecute everyone one the shift.
See who flips.
Barr is a bad guy.
What is wrong with Trump?
Mexico used the good brand of cameras.
Also, how is El Chapo even still alive after trying to announce who he’d been paying off?
There are many ways to disable a camera. The best ways do not involve getting anywhere near the camera itself.
Were they vidicons - or “image orthicons” (the type of image tube used in the cameras) - the ‘feds’ might not have had the latest in CCD technology ...
“Not only have we been told the cameras stopped working, but also that if they were working they wouldnt have filmed inside the cell.

I work in a maximum security facility. (But not federal facility) Coincidentally my job involves servicing the video and electronic security systems, and quite often recovering video from the system at the request of security personnel conducting investigations.
None of our cameras are inside cells, or pointing in cells.
The only place that happens is the mental health observation cells, and those are not recorded (I assume because of HIPPA rules). They go to a bank of monitors that are watched 24/7/365.
Even in our Special Housing Unit (SHU) the cameras are in all common areas, and all corridors and the rec areas. They are NOT looking in individual cells. I don’t know of any place where that is done. You can tell a lot just by seeing who goes where in a hallway and when.
All video feeds to a central system that records everything digitally. The entire system, including the subsystems in the areas where cameras are located, are secured and locked down and highly restricted. Only a few people can get the keys. The guards do not have the access required to disable any cameras or microphones, short of putting something over a lens, which is obvious and easily attributable to the person doing so.
I find it hard to believe that the two cameras that happened to be pointing toward the entrance to the facility’s most notorious and most critical inmate’s cell just happened to fail just then, and at the same time. Someone had to disable them, and that someone had to be much higher up the chain of command than the guards on duty.
Knowing what I know about how things work and how things are done, I can say that this thing stinks to high heaven.
was someone supposed to watching the cameras monitor? a lot of info should be on the various cameras nvr hard drive. a log for one thing. this is a jail not a 7-11 it should have first class equipment and maintenance, redundancy etc., who was the supplier, ADT?
Anyone want to bet the cameras went offline within a minute or two of each other?
Anyone want to bet neither camera has *any* fingerprints on it? Not the installer, nada...as if it were tampered with, then carefully wiped-down...
Anyone want to bet that particular make/model of camera is otherwise extremely reliable, in hundreds of other sites for years with few if any failures. Yet somehow these two failed so close together in space and time...
Anyone want to bet at the time the cameras went offline, not all the guards' whereabouts can be determined. Might have been at their post, might have been in that hallway...

Literally.
Like maybe someone disconnected the feed wires to these cameras for a couple seconds and using a small capacitor sent a 1000 volt signal down that wire to the camera burning out the circuit board in the camera.
The saboteur reconnects the camera feed before anyone comes to check out the failed camera and no one is the wiser.
Looks like a bad circuit board. Pretty common and not too suspicious.
“The FBI would rather keep the focus on this rather than the creeps associates.”
what has happened to his Ghislaine Maxwell? why hasn’t she been taken into custody for her purported involvement in procuring underage girls for Epstein?
Does sound like he could be one of the Good Ole Boys...It's interesting to note that anyone with any power or name recognition in Washington including the heads of the fake news media organizations and Intelligence Agencies and Congress Critters is a Member of the Council on Foreign Relations...This includes most all of Trump's Cabinet...The corruption is wide and deep...
Thanks for the expert commentary.
If you are close enough to put a cap on a lense you are close enough to discharge a device that generates a localized high energy electromagnetic pulse that would burn out a circuit board.
Its a theory.
