Well, maybe you're right. Maybe the time-out chair. LOL!

Shilos looks to be getting a bit snooty on the prices LOL but I love that place, right next to the USO.

VFW post 76 rocks too.

When my buddy came back from Afghanistan, we met his girlfriend in SA, she read us the riot act because we would sit in Shilos all day drinking beer and telling stories.

We took her dancing, that made her happy, jazz on the Riverwalk.
I like the old Mercado too.

A very pleasant good Wednesday morning and ((HUGS)) to everyone at the Canteen and to all our military at home and abroad. Thanks for your service to our country and thanks LUV W for this morning's thread.

You Should Spend the Day Lounging

You take the idea of self care seriously, and when you get a day off, you are all about renewal.

Even if you spend the whole day on the couch, you never feel guilty about it. You know how much you need your downtime.

You are never one to believe that a day resting is a wasted day. Rest only makes you stronger, smarter, and saner.

You treasure your quiet time, and even when life is hectic, you find it in bits and pieces as much as you can.

That pretty much fits me to a T at this point in my life.

How's everyone doing this morning?

Yeah, the time-out chair will suffice ..... this time.
Second offense warrants the wrench. LOL

Howdy, E.G.C. ((HUGZ))

Kinda hard to lounge very much with Gizmo around. LOL! He’s a fairly hyper young feller. Well, except when it’s blazing hot. Then lying under the A/C works just fine. :-)

I think she wanted him all to herself. LOL!

I love the mercado, too. I like walking in San Antonio. There are things to see all over downtown. The Mexican President’s Palace, the Circus Museum, La Valita village, the missions-especially the Alamo and of course, the River Walk. I wish there was a gun range closer to there. I’d like to explore it again.

((LOL))Yep, you're right. He loves to play around. Yesterday he wanted to run in the tall grass at Chisolm Trail Park. I had to keep him on a leash so he wouldn't run off.

We had fun though. It was also nice and cool.

That lil wild man does love to run in the tall grass and hide from you, doesn’t he? LOL

Sure would be nice of you could shoot some of that cool weather over here. It was cool Monday but too wet to do anything outside. Yesterday was hot and steamy again and it’ll be pretty hot the rest of the week.

I believe he was long gone by the time the wrench was mentioned. Tomorrow’s a work day and he gets up REAL early for that.

Ah, yes. Forgot about that. I guess he’ll just have to know that he dodged the bullet...er....wrench.

I’d better go, too. Not because I have to work, though tomorrow is laundry day, but because I didn’t sleep well last night, and my eyes are burning,

See ya mañana!

LOL! Yep, he got lucky this time.

I won’t be up as late as usual tonight. I didn’t sleep well because I thought we were going to lose Moogly today. I still can’t believe her test results were so great. I’ll sleep like a baby.

I hope Peaches is outside so you can catch up on sleep tonight!
