Former United States President Barack Obama believes that ballooning wealth inequality is a threat to society, and that those who have the means should help those who are less fortunate.
“Right now I’m actually surprised by how much money I got,” the 44th President said in his address to more than 10,000 people gathered in Johannesburg, South Africa, on Tuesday. “There’s only so much you can eat. There’s only so big a house you can have. There’s only so many nice trips you can take. I mean, it’s enough.”
The Obamas made more than $20 million between 2005 and 2016 thanks in large part to two lucrative book deals, according to an analysis by Forbes.

As I have been saying a lot here lately, most people (on both sides) are smart enough to know why things are being said and what they really mean by them. They either chose to accept the statement or reject it on it’s face, rather than calling out the real meaning.
In this case, what a lefty really means when they say such a thing is that those with big houses and nice things need to have more of their wealth confiscated because there is something unfair about it. Socialism is nothing more than schadenfreude and envy. Of course, when you are a wealthy leftist, you will have all sorts of rationalizations for why you deserve to have be wealthy... and you might even pay lips service to why you don’t deserve it.... but you’re not going to give up yours while others still have theirs.
Fails to mention that this is his 3rd mansion as well. Martha’s Vineyard, Hawaii, Dubai, as well as just nice “houses” in California and Chicago. He had another in DC, but that might be sold. Life is tough.
Maybe he should, “spread it around a little”.
Lets see they now have at least three homes and are considering buying another in Hawaii at some point.

Imagine if America never had an Obama or Clinton. They are but two loathsome SOB’s. The problem is that millions of people enabled them. It’s the right to be a hypocrite and cash in by using other people. It’s quite the scam without putting in any hard work. These scum are what the Founders would hang.
