President Donald Trump is attending the G7 Summit in Biarritz, France this weekend.
The liberal mainstream media was pretty certain this would be a complete disaster and that the countries were at odds. This is what they reported for several days before the summit began.
Then President Trump dropped this wonderful news on Sunday.

Was told as a kid “there are starving kids in China who would love to have that to eat”. Which is becoming true again, thanks to Presiden Xi, but evidently not so in France.
Japan can sell excess corn to China, since they won’t deal with the US, problem solved. Tell them it tastes like soy.

I wont dispute that there are healthier foods to eat than corn. However, type two diabetes is caused by obesity and lack of exercise. My brother was diagnosed with type two diabetes. He was significantly overweight. He started lecturing me on my diet. I told him the reason I do not have type two diabetes is that I run on the treadmill 4 to 5 times per week. I told him to do the same and his type two diabetes would go away. He took me up on the challenge, and three months later he was off of the medication for type two diabetes. So yes, Diet does play a role. However, if you exercise frequently, you do not have to worry about acquiring type two diabetes, and if you currently are diagnosed with it, it will go away with the exercise.
That said, since weve been eating lower carb (no breads, pastas, or sugar-sweetened items, or high sugar content veggies or fruits), weve been doing great.
We do eat plums, watermelon, and peaches, but these have few sugars for their volume. We dont eat sweet corn or peas any more, though, except on rare occasions.
Are you full Type II?
I’m convinced, but cannot prove, that corn sweeteners cause obesity.
We feed corn to livestock to fatten it for the slaughter.
For generations, a zaftig mid-western gal was described as being ‘corn fed’...
“...that corn is what LIVESTOCK ate.”
I had a Dutch housekeper at one time who said the same thing. I couldn’t convince her that cattle corn was vastly different from sweet corn. My Swedish mother and German in-laws looked down on spaghetti and wouldn’t touch it. They considered it plebeian.
This is racism!
My mother had flown over in the fifties to meet her new husband’s family. the crossingn had been fine, but all new for this young woman from Tuscany. The car and driver brought her up from the docks of New York with her new husband. The car drove in and the sounds of a pool party and bbq came from the back yard. She walked down the driveway and came face to face with a large crowd of people eating BBQ and roasted corn ears.
she was offered a plate of BBQ and Corn. She did not understand why these people were serving her pig food.
The releionships never got much better. LOL
Frying foods at an outdoor cookout is not a typical Upstate New York tradition.
They are part of the Caucasian ethnic group. Therefore, nobody in government or the press or Hollywood gives a damn about them.
Might have something to do with quantity, not so much quality.
actually she hadnt flown on the first five or six crossings, she took ships. that is why she was at the docks
A hundred percent agreement with you. Corn is the DEVIL.
Or as we say in the South, "Corn is the DIBBLE."
Well, maybe not ALL of us in the South say that.
Maybe I'm the only one.
.....yep. Just checked. I'm the only one who says that.
In part, yes of course.
Debble.
Nay! If one allows but ONE SINGLE KERNAL of corn to touch ones lips, they will immediately and suddenly gain several dozen pounds, causing their clothes to rip like Bruce Banner becoming The Incredible Hulk, with such force that the sound they make will be like rubbing two wet balloons together.
Here too. There is a difference in field corn used as feed, and sweet corn intended for humans.
That said though my brother-in-law is a wannabe hill billy. He thinks it's southern, (hence - COOL,) to eat field corn.
