President Donald Trump is attending the G7 Summit in Biarritz, France this weekend.
The liberal mainstream media was pretty certain this would be a complete disaster and that the countries were at odds. This is what they reported for several days before the summit began.
Then President Trump dropped this wonderful news on Sunday.

What would they have served in France?
I just spent a week in the country and enjoyed listening to the crop reports and analysis. The big story was that US had produced so much corn that farmers are in BIG trouble over a TOO LOW market price for corn. This should help Trump politically in farm country.
I had a friend who was diagnosed as borderline Diabetic in his 60’s. After hearing his report on his diet, I encourage him to eat two large salads a day, avoid almost all carbohydrates, especially white flour and white rice, and eat moderate amounts of natural protein. He got a moderate amount of physical exercise each day. Supervising several street vendors, helping them set up, going to wholesale houses to bring them more merchandise, etc. I saw him two months later and asked how he was doing. At a recent doctors visit, the doctor said he was no longer borderline Diabetic and had stopped his medication.
Stop eating corn.
We need to convert all of our corn to ethanol.
This gasoline is way to efficient.
Lets cut down the entire Amazon and plant sugar beets and convert them to ethanol too.

please return to your regular scheduled ranting.
snails, horse meat, shallots and a Bordeaux Red wine
“Free trade” is wishful thinking. We have been promised umpteen times that Japan will finally open up more to the U.S. Yet the trade deficit only grows.
Getting our products into these countries does not help anyway because the people in these countries buy as little as they can from “the foreigners.” They lower tariffs while simultaneously increasing regulatory hurdles other products cannot match effectively. Japanese people do not buy American automobiles. They don’t like buying American meat. It doesn’t meat their “superior” standards. Japanese society revolves around Japan’s “specialness.” No one else compares according to them. They think their country is not only a splendid country, but the only splendid country.
$7 billion is only a drop in the total deficit of $60 billion. The trade deficit with Japan won’t change anytime soon.
You know having read this for the second time it occurs to me that this is a good example of what assh*les the French people are, by and large.
Now the media is saying the the G-7 folks are angry because Trump says they should ask Putin to rejoin them to be the G-8. He seems to blame Obama, although after Putin seized Crimea from the Ukraine, the 7 members voted unanimously to evict Putin from the G-8.
The problem with being so concerned about your diet: No corn syrup. No GMOs. No processed sugar. No soda pop. No butter. No dairy. No caffeine. No alcohol. Etc. Etc, Is that if you stick to that diet youre sure to walk off a curb and get hit by a street car.

Butter is fine.
The French parents looked at the plates like they had just been served dog food.
Meanwhile they eat snails . . . . . . .
"Waiter........ There are snails on her plate. Now get them out of here before she sees them! Look away, just look away, keep your eyes that way! You would think that in a fancy restaurant at these prices you could keep the snails off the food! There are so many snails there you cant even see the food! Now take those away and bring us those melted cheese sandwich appetizers you talked me out of!"
I’ve heard that Europeans consider corn animal fodder.
However, I doubt that the occasional ear of corn at a cook out is going to fatten up the country.
It’s the HFCS that’s produced from it that’s the problem. Taking out everything but the sugar never ends well.
Same is true of fruit juice. You might as well drink Kool-Aid for all the nutrition you’ll get out of it.
