Former Illinois Congressman Joe Walsh announced Sunday morning that he is running for president as a Republican, challenging President Trump in the GOP primary race.
"Friends, I'm in. We can't take four more years of Donald Trump. And that's why I'm running for President," Walsh tweeted. "It won't be easy, but bravery is never easy. But together, we can do it."

I saw Walsh on Stephanopoulos this morning. He said he created Trump and now is sorry. Said Trump does not know what he is doing. Said Trump instigates hate and needs to be removed. After watching it was evident that Joe did not know what he was doing and Joe is the one filled with hate. Oh and Joe no one thinks you created Trump. There is only one who could create this magnificent being.

Democrats don’t have this problem do they. You’ll never see a fake democrat, but for some reason we have this huge problem with fake Republicans, ones that are utterly identical to far leftists.
I’ve been voting since the Reagan/Carter election, never in my entire life have I EVER seen in any election a political party take sides against their own nominee the way Republicans did in 2016, especially Paul Ryan and that utter scumrat Mitt Romney. Remember that crap? Mitt Romney actually, incredibly holding a press conference to bash Trump? UNBELIEVABLE!!

He was our congressman then and his district... a hitherto reliable republican district..was gerrymandered to favor democrats. Walsh was a good tea party guy at the time but since then with the advent of Trump he became a contrarian schmuck. Still good on guns and abortion though. Angling for big league gig with networks I surmise.

This guy stands precisely ZERO chance of winning the nomination, and surely he (as well as everyone else involved in or supporting his “campaign”) realizes that.
So what’s the “real” objective here? Publicity for his radio show? Left wing RINOs wanting to simply do whatever damage they think they can to POTUS, so a Dem can win in ‘20?

This is the same Joe “the Jackass” Walsh who was wiped out by Tammy Dumbworth in his last Congressional race. Joe caved big time and ran a terrible campaign.
