Harvard law professor Laurence Tribe unleashed an unhinged attack on President Trump and his supporters Wednesday after the commander in chief said he was considering an executive action that would end the practice of "birthright citizenship."
"This fuxxxng racist wants to reverse the outcome of the Civil War," Tribe claimed. He was referring to the 14th Amendment, which is often cited by media figures as a Constitutional guarantee to citizenship for anyone – including children of illegal immigrants – born in the United States.

Agreed. I live in urban area so I am in thick of it.
They’ve lost all sense of reason and proportion. Everyone knew Trump for at least 4 decades. He had a network TV show. He owned casinos. He was on Letterman and Oprah. Maybe they liked him or maybe not, but nobody ever accused him of this kind of nonsense. Then Hillary’s campaign realized she had very high negative poll numbers and this is considered by political strategists to be devastating electorally. So they concocted a scheme to raise Trump’s negative numbers - Russian hoax, racist, sexist, xenophobe etc - all to try to equalize her own negative perception.
And so many people swallowed this, despite knowing the guy for 40 years. Either they believed it, or they chose to ignore everything they knew about him because it suited their politics. And then when Hillary lost, they went off the rails. The original sin is believing the lie. They painted themselves into a logical corner. Being a racist is the only thing you cannot be forgiven for in this country. So they have no choice now (according to their own logic and emotion) to go even more berserk. They cannot walk it back.
To cure TDS, you have to realize this first error - believing the smear and lies of a political campaign. Trump is many things, he can be blunt and Un-PC and rude at times, and he isn’t the most eloquent speaker either. But he is no “white nationalist” hater.
Laurence Tribe has gotten increasingly weird over the last couple of years. I suspect age may be doing its thing, and Harvard should do the decent thing and get him off the stage.
I would bet well over 90% of the faculty of Hahvahd share this psychopath’s views. Big Commie Ed needs to be demolished for good.

This is the first time in my life that I will truly joyfully vote for a candidate. Was too young for Reagan. Bush 1 sucked but sucked less than the sleazy young clintons. Bob Dole was a joke, but sucked less than the clintons. George Bush was evil, but less horrific than Al Gore, and John F’n Kerry. McCain would have been worse than O’Bunghole. And Mittens was as milquetoast and evil as they come. I reluctantly voted for Trump, and he has delivered even in the face of absurd resistance from the media and the entire political establishment.

To foster “national unity,” Paul Ryan chooses Hillary Clinton as his vice president.

Lawrence Tribe actually thought this was a plausible scenario.

It says that children of Mexican parents, regardless of where they are born, are MEXICAN citizens. And that, folks, is what “under the jurisdiction thereof” means.

The author of the citizenship clause, Senator Jacob M. Howard of Michigan told us exactly what the 14th Amendment means and its intended scope as he introduced it to the United States Senate in 1866.....
“What I have offered is simply declaratory of what I regard as the law of the land already, that every person born here within the limits of the United States, and subject to their jurisdiction, is by virtue of natural law and national law a citizen of the United States.”
And now the most important part....
“This will not, of course, include persons born in the United States who are foreigners, aliens, who belong to the families of ambassadors or foreign ministers accredited to the Government of the United States, but will include every other class of persons.”
Sounds like he was saying that children of foreigners and aliens will not be citizens of the United States.
