I certainly hope he wouldn’t build something like that, there.
(and we had better look into the political/ideological persuasion of the ‘majority’ of Greenlanders, first...)
FYI, that pic was posted by PDJT in a tweet, with a promise not to build it in Greenland.
Lighten up.
There are only 56000 of them. That is it. The whole gargantuan place has a lower total population than my town. The only place I can think of with a lower population of any size is Antarctica with a summer population of 4000. I mean Guernsey island has a larger population and that thing is 25 sq miles, not 836,300 sq miles.
It was a joke. Trump retweeted someone who photoshopped the Trump Tower there.
A Twitter account would keep you better informed about the President.
Trump respects traditional architecture. With Mar-a-lago he spent a lot to get the artisans who could restore the original interior. With the new Trump Hotel, he also picked artisans who could preserve the exposed beams and period sconces and other hardware.
I think he would probably do the same if Greenland would become part of the US. Infrastructure would probably be improved but I don’t think he’d want to destroy the natural culture and architecture there.
