Dear California Residents, If you're tired of the filthy cities, sanctuary cities, homeless people living and defecating on the streets, disease, crime, drugs, freebies to illegals, high taxes, unresponsive government, etc., etc, etc., the answer is clear. People can switch parties if they get desperate enough and have a good leader to turn to. It happened during the 1980s when Ronald Reagan ended the economic disaster created by the left. Why should the federal government take care of it? The State and cities are collecting taxes to maintain them aren’t they? Oh but they are taking care of illegal aliens. I thought they didn’t want to cooperate with the federal government.

I think you are right. I saw the rot setting in during the mid-seventies with a huge influx from the northeast.
It was all downhill after that, and they are entrenched everywhere now. I bailed out 13 years ago.
While returning from a driving vacation to California last week, I remarked to my husband ‘I WISH the Republicans could take over California again’. I would love to live in that beautiful state again but the Left has so destroyed it that it may be unsalvageable.
