Chinas export-led economic strategy and lack of regulatory oversight are responsible for most illicit and synthetic fentanyl in the United States, think tank Rand Corporation recently testified to Congress.

20,000?
Are you serious?
Because those self same Chicoms want us disarmed.
Payback for the Opium Wars.
China has a long memory.
Payback for the Opium Wars.
That was the British. Send it there.
L
The mediascum still pick on Legitimate Opioid use.
And the head of the cdc is claiming Opioid crisis because his son has ODed several times on street drugs so that makes it everybody else’s fault...
Do they export fentanyl to the U.K.?
Because, the Opium Wars, and the 100 year lease of Hong Kong were primarily a product of the British.
Haha, they can’t even decide on a number in NC much less the US.
Do a search and You’ll find all different counts depending on who lies about what.
The US has only itself to blame. It’s in the article.
Recall the 26 people in Mexico that had their assets frozen, and using the EO of December 2017.
The negotiation would go something like this:
Trump negotiator: President Xi said that he would stop the sale of Fentanyl to the United States this never happened, and many Americans continue to die! :
Chicoms:....still prevaricating
Trump Negotiator: So as a gesture of your sincerity here is a list of 26 people that are supplying Fentanyl to the USA and we would like you to freeze their assets within 24 hours
Chicoms:...more prevaricating
Trump negotiator: Then we have a similar list of 260 people and we we will freeze their assets world wide...maybe your name is on it....do you feel lucky punk?
Chicom negotiator: Yes Sir...please do it....its been so ordered straight away.
Just recently two different old acquaintances lost their sons to overdose. In both cases, Fentanyl was the culprit. I had no idea until they announced that their kids passed on. It was a real shock. I had no idea they were suffering through it but we live in other states and only seldom reached out to say hello.
FTA....
....The DEA reported that cartel drug labs in Mexico have a long history of importing the precursors to brew illicit methamphetamine from China. But over the last five years, semi-legitimate pharmaceutical suppliers have focused on shipping 90-percent pure fentanyl to the U.S. drug traffickers via the international postal system and private express consignment carriers, such as FedEx and DHL, as well as by cargo.
Rand states that Chinas expansion of e-commerce and inexpensive shipping have made global trade cheaper and more convenient explains why Chinas pharmaceutical industry is now the second largest in the world with 5,000 manufacturers producing more than 2,000 products. With annual production capacity of over 2 million tons, China is also the single largest exporter of active pharmaceutical ingredients in the world.
Combined with another 400,000 chemical manufacturers and distributors, some operating without legal approval, Rand states that Chinas market reforms have far outpaced regulatory oversight of its pharmaceutical and chemical industries.
Rand warns that the scale of smuggling synthetic opioids from China may be evolving, as evidenced by the June 2018 seizure in Philadelphia of 50 kilograms of 4-fluoroisobutyryl fentanyl hidden in barrels of iron oxide in an air shipment from China.
According to DEA, the lack of international control under the UN system of drug conventions has allowed Chinese manufacturers to export fentanyl precursors. In late 2016, the U.S. Department of State identified nearly 260 opioid producers with more than half located in China. Although the fentanyl precursor chemicals were finally added to Chinas national drug schedules in early 2018, Chinese producers face little domestic scrutiny regarding restricted drug production and export.....
Is someone putting a gun to peoples’ heads and forcibly injecting them with fentanyl?
Not only that. According to the 60 Minutes episode regarding Fentanyl use, most of it is sent to the US via the US postal service. It is shipped in the MAIL. Not UPS. Not FedEx or other carriers. The US mail. Or Federal Government.
This is because other carriers are required to screen packages coming into the country. The US postal service is not at this point.
As a side note. Do you know that the US postal service gives a special rate for postal rates from CHINA. It is actually cheaper to ship a package from China to New Hampshire than from New York to New Hampshire. This is why you will see items on EBAY being shipped directly from China. Our government gives China a cheaper package rate than shippers in the US. How can a company in Iowa compete against a company in China shipping the same product?
I bought a replacement carburetor for an old snow blower off EBAY. It was $29.95 including shipping from China. How can a retailer in NJ compete against that? This is something the government could easily change.
I (believe) Trump is ending that.
I think.
What is the deal with fentanyl anyway? My understanding is that it’s mixed with heroin, so most or all of the “fentanyl deaths” we read about are probably the result of heroin use. But why do junkies want fentanyl in their heroin? Does it improve the high? Lower the price? What’s the attraction? (Calling all Freeper junkies!)
Thats going to stop
Trump has issued an EO withdrawing from the Postal Union that gives low cost mail service from China to the USA
It was a while back and takes some time to fully withdraw.
Trump withdraws from postal treaty in new front against China

The Trump administration announced Wednesday it will withdraw from a 144-year-old postal treaty, claiming the treaty gives countries like China and Singapore an unfair advantage and floods U.S. markets with cheaper e-commerce packages.
The withdrawal echoes President Donald Trumps history of accusatory rhetoric against China for manipulating trade by subsidizing its manufacturers. Trump volleyed billions of dollars in tariffs with China over the summer, raising concerns of higher domestic manufacturing costs. A senior administration official said Wednesday that the withdrawal from the postal agreement is not related to the tariffs, but the move is aimed at protecting U.S. manufacturers and the U.S. postal system.
So on 10/17/2018 the free freight from China will stop.
Saw a cop show the other night, not sure if it was Cops or Live PD, but this gal said that she spent $200 a DAY on drugs!! Now, she admitted she had to steal to get that money to buy those drugs, because I have never heard of a drug dealer who did it on credit. $1,400 per week on drugs! Man, that is huge money.
So, China ain't stupid here. They know our younger generation is doing drugs upon drugs. They know our kids are lazy as sin. They know our kids are not doing school work and our kid's school grades are dropping like a rock when put up against other nation's kid's school grades. They know as the time goes on, our country is getting weaker and weaker. This country is going down hill and FAST!! As the Golden Generation dies off and the boomers get OLD fast (I'm an older boomer). China knows that the enemy they would fight will not be that strong. They will be too busy training up their own and keeping that strong eye on them. Our kids are just playing video games, playing on those damned phones and doing drugs. Ain't America grand?
Yeah, I know a couple who lost both their son and daughter to overdoses. Both the son and daughter had graduated from good colleges. I just can’t believe so many kids today are stupid enough to ever try heroin. Meth, heroin, pcp, crack ect... there are some drugs that should never be experimented with.
Yeah, so if the children are all so pathetic, then how exactly is it that there are so many of them playing football, soccer, and lacrosse?
