For lawmakers and political candidates, 2019 could be the year of not giving a f--- about cursing.
Profanity — once considered a major no-no among those seeking public office — is no longer an earth-shattering political snafu. And according to new research, this year could be on track to see members of Congress swearing up a storm more than ever before.
Trump forces them to reveal their true selves. Believing their 'truth' instead of facts.

Well, Trump dropped a few bombs himself. They must be trying to outdo him.
They think it makes them look macho and that voters will swoon. Bad news, boys and girls...it just makes you look immature and not fit to govern.
Swearing certainly has been a feature of (private) political life since forever, but normally for a reason and then only to your aides, never in public and certainly never as a vote-getting strategy.
Trying to be cool and get the young voters.
Where does this suddenly come from? Did they forget Truman, LBJ, Clinton and Obama? Why Republicans are even lumped in with this is beyond me. Filth is the left. Decorum and cowardliness is with the right....until Trump!

They are pandering to millennials. Many millennials believe in nothing and consider all profanity to be just a part of normal conversation. An f-bomb shows that kind of millennial that the candidate is hip and cool.
People that can’t communicate without swearing have a poor command of the English language.
