If you invert the vowels in the last word of your handle, it would add some humour to your comment.
While I can agree that people should be able to enjoy a brewski, and would agree that it is cold-hearted to deny people this basic enjoyment, I do think that shoplifting crosses a line.
If it were Chicago, I believe the words ho-hum would apply.
