The New York Medical Examiner's Office released its official autopsy report on financier and accused sex trafficker Jeffrey Epstein on Friday, finding that he died from suicide by hanging.
On Thursday, the Washington Post reported, citing unnamed sources, that Epstein's autopsy had found "multiple breaks in his neck bones," noting that while that kind of damage can be obtained by self-hanging, "they are more common in victims of homicide by strangulation." However, Friday's official report concluded the bones were broken by Epstein kneeling toward the floor with sufficient force to break them, having fashioned a noose from a bedsheet tied to a set of bunk beds, the New York Times reported.
Epstein, 66, died six days ago in his cell at the Metropolitan Correctional Center in Manhattan while he awaited trial on federal sex trafficking charges. Due to his having attempted suicide only weeks earlier and his high profile status, Epstein's death aroused a host of conspiracy theories that he had been murdered by powerful friends who feared he might expose their connections to his alleged pedophilic sex ring in his upcoming trial.
The fear of conspiracy was sufficient to prompt Republican Senators Ron Johnson and Chuck Grassley to pen a letter to Attorney General William Barr earlier on Friday asking that Epstein's full autopsy be released. Barr has pledged that in Epstein's death, “any co-conspirators should not rest easy.”
Epstein's death is the subject of four federal investigations, including the conduct of the guards assigned to him the night of his death.
NBC reported Friday that a mysterious "Epstein associate" had filed for control over the billionaire financier's remains following the autopsy.

Where’s the “statement” from the ME’s office? Where’s the press release?
It’s not on the Chief Medical Examiner’s website “news” section. It’s not linked in any of the NYT/WaPo/ABC/NBC/CBS stories.
As I have posted previously, autopsy reports consist of the PAD, the microscopic results, the brain (which isn’t even fixed or sectioned
yet), the chemistry/microbiology/toxicology, and the “event”, which is usually a narrative from law enforcement or in some cases witnesses.
This takes a long time. It is certainly not done yet.
So. WHAT was released Friday, BY whom, FOR what purpose, and WHERE is it?
One or more of his “guards” have already won the lottery, as did the ME!
We can differ. I just don’t see two guards( not one) sleeping through a murder. Was it quiet or so loud that other inmates were screaming,”breath, brath?” I can’t seem to get a picture not just of the jail layout but all the stories that are supposed to be believable. One guard sleeping? Okay. Two guards sleeping, no video, high security, no door checks, no patient/inmate checks, fudging charts, For how long? Two hours? One? Perplexing
Epstein cremated himself while the ME was on break.
So, Hillary! is now NY’s Medical Examiner?

Well that’s a good point. The article says the medical examiner “ruled” it a suicide but doesn’t link to an actual report. It just links back to the previous WaPo stories that cite an anonymous source.
What an odd thing.
Press offices don’t release statements as image files.
And the autopsy is not, cannot be, “complete”.
Cause of death and manner are different concepts.
Im sure epsteins lawyers have no ulterior motive at all by wanting to make this a non suicide. Like, the insurance doesn’t pay off, for starters.
The last people on earth anyone should pay attention to are his lawyers.
Each death investigation stands on its own set of facts. Common denominators don’t equal cause and effect.
Well look, I do not know what really happened but there is a lot talk not just from his lawyers. Then there is the jail fail! Lots of loose ends?And of course Epstein new too much about too many others. Have the details from the autopsy report been released yet?
