And we thought Robert “Beto” O’Rourke’s announcement of a “major address to the nation” was laughably arrogant. The three-time congressman used the platform this morning to explain why he will not drop out of the presidential race to help out his party and challenge incumbent John Cornyn in next year’s Senate race. The Senate’s just “not good enough” for Beto or his home town of El Paso in order to accomplish his agenda:

Witless Beto will go to Mississippi to campaign on behalf of the illegal aliens who lost their employment as a result of ICE raids on the Koch chicken processing facility. Bet he won’t be campaigning to the unemployed American citizens attending the resulting Koch job fairs to get those newly available jobs.
Well, his lack of humility ranks him right up there with 0bama and Hillary. He’s got that going for him.
And Beta 3.0 erupts in flames. Beta 4.0 is ramping up. It’s a good bet he’ll never mount another Senate run. What a maroon.

Even as a Senator, you should be at least representing the entire state of Texas. As President you are supposed to be there for ALL Americans.
If you want to represent JUST El Paso, then run for Congress again.
That’s because he wasn’t RGK or Lincoln, he was just a D running against a hated R in a midterm... with a motivated national D base willing to throw gobs of money at it to try to take out Cruz...
It didn’t matter WHO ran against Cruz... the narrative was, We can Take out Cruz, send money.. they pumped up this not ready for prime time player.. would have done it with anyone else that had been playing that roll as well.
Once he lost, the narrative was over, and the excited folks who were throwing cash moved on.... Empty suit.. or to be more regional... All Hat, no Cattle.
NO ONE, NOT ONE PERSON was demanding this nobody to be president, he bought into his own press during the hype time and thought he was something more than he was... reality is, wouldn’t have mattered WHO the actual individual was running against Cruz, they were going to do this.
Hopefully the largely complacent people in TX will realize they NEED to turn out, or they will eventually wind up with some buffoon like this winning statewide at some point.
Maybe he should post a video of himself getting high off his own fart gas.

Who hasn’t said at one time or another, “Doesn’t El Paso deserve a US senator.” Robert its addressing the essential points of our generation. I hope he stays in the race to show the divrersity of democrat candidates and to represent El Paso in the WH.
