The Israeli government announced Thursday morning pro-BDS movement and anti-Semitic Democrat lawmakers Ilhan Omar and Rashida Tlaib will not be allowed to enter the country. The two were scheduled to land in Tel Aviv on Friday. Tlaib has been informed she can apply for a humanitarian visa if she would like to visit her Palestinian family. Israel has a long standing policy to block BDS supporters from entering the country.
From the Jerusalem Post:
Deputy Foreign Minister Tzipi Hotovely confirmed that Israel will not allow the congresswomen from entering Israel, although an official comment from the government has not yet been published."Israel has decided," she said. "We will not allow the congresswomen to enter the country. We will not allow anyone who denies our right to exist in the world to enter the country. In principle, this is a very correct decision."Foreign Minister Israel Katz said that he supports the ban "due to their blatant support for the boycott of the State of Israel, terrorism against Israel and minimizing the Holocaust.
"Furthermore, the planned visit they have prepared is entirely aimed at provocation and incitement against the State of Israel, and not to study the State of Israel's activities," he said. "A self-respecting state does not allow those who undermine its existence to enter its borders and continue incitement."
Last month and one day prior to announcing her planned trip to Israel, Omar introduced a Boycott, Sanction and Divestment resolution on Capitol Hill in partnership with Tlaib. In doing so, she compared Israeli treatment of Palestinians to the Nazis. Tlaib did the same during a speech on the House floor.

The BDS movement is designed to destroy Israel's economy in an effort to take down the country. Some background:
BDS supporters claim that they want to put economic pressure on Israel to reach agreement on a peaceful and fair solution to its conflict with the Palestinians, and their message has found increasing traction in the U.S. The controversial Democratic representatives Rashida Tlaib and Ilhan Omar have lent the movement high-profile support. The New York Times Magazine recently published a pro-BDS cover story written by a highly controversial political journalist. Altogether, 31 universities have passed BDS measures since 2015, and, since 2005, 127 such measures have been considered.
The truth is that many of the students and activists who support the movement have been duped into thinking theyre supporting a noble cause. In fact, BDS is little more than a ploy established and run by radical anti-Semites who deny Israels right to exist and seek to destroy it.
You dont need to take our word for it: Let Barghouti speak for himself. He believes that Israel is an illegitimate state.

Earlier today, President Trump urged the country to block their entry.

This is a developing story. Stay tuned for updates.
Good.
Persona non grata. A good move on Israel’s part.
We’ll never know for sure, but here’s my guess as to what happened.
1) The gals had something huge planned to embarrass Bibi and Trump. Possibly violent too, or at least susceptible to violence.
2) Israeli Intelligence picked up on it (in Israel, their intelligence agencies actually work FOR the government, rather than against it).
3) Israel tried to re-direct the gals itinerary so as to prevent this ambush.
4) The gals would have nothing of it, and so they were told sorry, no visit.
Omar has been dead quiet for 2 weeks. I would expect that hiatus will end very shortly.
At least Israel will stand up for itself.
Bad. As some of us discussed, while these members of congress are vile, they are our members of congress. Israel is our ally, supposedly, and is recipient and dependent upon our funds and technology. They should not cross us, diss our elected representatives, however vile. Trump needs to spell this out in no uncertain terms, respect us, all of us, or face the consequences. And yes these vile reps will embarrass themselves, and need to be allowed to. Why make martyrs of them, why disrespect the US. Bad move on Israels part, shame on us if we allow it to occur.
Israel has NO OBLIGATION to invite the ENEMY in to conspire to undermine Israel.
Omar and Tlaib are traitors.
Fabulous...I hate those 2 pieces of Sh*t......
Israel is obviously racist against four self-identifying cisgender wxmyn of color other that white.
It would be the same as allowing your worst nightmare into your home, like in the ID show: Fear Thy Neighbor.
Why allow your enemies into your home? They have declared themselves to be Israel’s enemies.
Go Israel!
If someone is actively destroying your nation you are under no obligation to allow them entry.
Were under treaty obligation for the UN to allow people into New York City.
Israel has no obligation to allow people in that are begging the world to destroy them.
I know theyre members of Congress, I know theyre out ally but under no circumstances would they ever cast a vote or do something for the benefit of Jews or the state of Israel.
As my wife sails. YESSSS!!!
Good! Hopefully they were on the way and we can somehow prevent their return. Hateful _itches.
I’m glad you’re in charge of nothing.
Where is your wife sailing? To Israel?
What gives them the right to enter any country let alone one they wish to see destroyed? Do you honestly believe that any congressman has the right to enter any country they want at any time?
Rush explains what globalism is and how nations need to be eliminated as part of that goal. Where exactly does that leave Israel? Imagine how long Israel could survive if they had open borders. Muslims could turn Jerusalem into a no-go zone where Sharia Law dominate and who would come to Israel’s rescue (on Earth, that is)?
Globalism could simply be a way to exterminate Jews legislatively.
I fully support blocking these Anti-Semites. Viva, Bibi!
