Has the Biblical Moses Been Identified in Secular Egyptian Records
Ancient Origens ^ | 8/08/2019 | Annette Duckworth

Moses was a prophet and a leader according to Abrahamic religions, but many scholars view him as a legendary figure rather than a real historic person. They do concede that a Moses-like figure could have existed in history, so is it possible to track this person down through historic records? It is the view of this writer that this is very possible and that in fact the Moses figure can be traced as that of the primary confidant of none other than Egyptian pharaoh Hatshepsut. The trail begins with Th Exodus.

I hadn't heard about this theory that Hashepsut was the Pharoah's daughter who rescued Moses and later raised his to high office as her stepson. But this article is interesting and based on some interesting facts, dates, and surviving Egyptian records ans statues. Worth a read.

“Abrahamic religions” That is enough to know she has not a clue about what she is talking about. How many are there?

Google “Sinai inscriptions”, and then select “images” from the menu. You’ll see the graffiti left by Hebrew slaves in the Sinai mines, and at least one of them mentions Moses.

As well, the book “The World’s Oldest Alphabet”, by Petrovich, goes into those inscriptions in much greater detail (a hard read, for scholars, but the info is there).

Hatshepsut”s wet nurse was also buried near her royal tomb (a rare honor)> Beside her was another woman, a semite, with red hair. Who was she to deserve such distinction? (Miriam?) Who knows? Be nice to check the DNA...

You must mean the way the traditional piety of the patriarchs, Abraham’s sons etc to his great grandsons and until Moses, the Mosaic covenant and then the Gospel because Islam is an interloper of pagan origins that was imposed by its false prophet and has about as much to do with Abraham’s faith as the Democrats have to do with governance by constitutional means.

I don’t think it says Miriam was the queen, rather that she could be implied to be one more aspect of his known birth family.

I would be interested to see how the queen’s favorite’s real parents names stack up against those of Moses’ parents.

Per Jewish tradition Moses’ wet nurse was his own mother (Jocheved....Yocheved in Hebrew.)

Miriam was wondering in the desert with Moses, and the children of Israel, doubt they took her back to Egypt.

“a stretch, Islam?” That’s a trillion leaps and ten trillion stretches! Islam follows Satan, nothing else.

I think the inference was to Moses mother, not his sister.

I do not care about your opinion. Traditionally those three religions are Abrahamic in origin.
