While America faces some turmoil at home, the nation is still being represented as a symbol of freedom across the globe.
Protesters in Hong Kong are singing the U.S. national anthem and flying American flags as they protest oppression under Chinas Communist Party. Specifically, protesters are outraged about Chinas new extradition laws, which weaken Hong Kongs sovereignty and gives the communist party more power over the people.

I saw this elsewhere. Heartbreaking.
Colin Krapalot is mad at those protesters, he thought they should kneel, but they are for FREEDOM...not COMMUNISM!
Couldn’t we arm them or get someone to help them with an underground setup? Through a third party of course. As we have done hundreds of times.
No, but should it provide shame to all the politicians, which is probably nearly all of them, that sold out US manufacturing and continue to do so - for THIS regime?
Yet Trump held off on tariffs...
Really? Here in Canada our political elites are the hand maidens of the ChiComs, say THEY are not losing any tears. I am actually surprised Google is trying to hush things up for their paymasters for the ChiCom government.
EXACTLY, but Trump made a huge shift yesterday. Too late now?
Apparently, democrats and chicoms aren't the only ones who don't like that.
Britain should never have given Hong Kong to China. Just Like Jimmah shouldnt have released the Panama Canal Zone back
Offer refugee status to their businessmen, their Masters and PHDs and any other elite who can make Hong Kong happen here. Immediately. In one fell swoop we could drain China of major economic brain power and make Hong Kong just another piece of real estate with diminishing value.
That may have signed their death warrant.
Of course the Deep State desperately wants a war. They tried Syria and Iran, so I wouldn’t be surprised they are in this.

The song “Sing Hallelujah to the Lord” has been taken up as one of their favorite protest songs.
Boy you never came across to me as a miserable #### :)
Maybe you’re just having a bad night.
But I don’t think so man.
That was a post by one of the most miserable human beings around that I have read in a while :)
Kinda shocked.
Oh well.
“Hong Kong Protesters Sing The American National Anthem”
I’m not impressed.
That would be the entire hierarchy of the Democratic party along with a few million illegal voters.

As if this would convince me to send our precious sons and daughters into war to free them. Rather, I say we offer their best a free ticket here. Lets bring in the best and brightest over here before the Chinese can react to it. Hurt the Chinese brain power-wise, avoid a conflict and maybe we can save a few.
How long have these people had to get out over twenty years Hong Kong being to China. Seems like stupid greedy people who ignored the obvious - China is evil and you’re on their land and have made the property quite valuable. Easy for me to say I don’t live there
Impossible.
America is the most awful, racist, white supremacist country that's ever existed.
Oh...and Trump is a Hitler / white supremacist / Nazi.
Hong Kong has a history of protesting outside rule.
The latest manifestation is the largest because the stakes were raised due to the "proposed" extradition bill.
Since they are part of China, they can't "get out" without an actual war for independence...which isn't going to happen. However, their sense of urgency regarding their tenuous grip on somewhat limited freedoms has escalated.
Their best hope at the moment, is to stall the communist full takeover of their semi-autonomous region until the "planed" takeover in 2047 which is when, if nothing very drastic happens, they WILL become a full part of communist china.
