Several FReepers have complained in here about President Trump’s promise to build a wall not happening...
For one thing, does anyone think the Lame Stream Media is going to report how much wall is being built???
For another, replacing old broken strands of rusty barbed wire and small wooden posts with substantial barriers IS building a wall...
With all the interference and liberal leftist obstruction that our President has faced on this issue, I think he’s done a great job so far...
In other words, I really don’t give a crap about all the negativity I’ve seen in here from a few hand wringers...
My complaints.
Too many illegals flooding the border every month.
Trump didn’t ask for funding the day after the election. If Ryan and Turtle didn’t have funding in place by Jan 21, 2017 (which they didn’t) he should have declared the emergency then and started the wall in 2017.
Much of what has been done is replacement leaving many hundred miles of border still open.
Don’t be so easily satisfied and anxious to condemn those who want clarity and truth and the job completed.
Most of these hand wringers are “ROLCON'S"
“ROLCON'S" refers to role playing as a conservative on line!
People paid to protect the left’s agenda in social media.
The first efforts were met with law suits and just about anything the Left could throw at them to stop the wall.
Now that those have all been shot down, Trump pretty much has the freedom to build the thing from here on out.
With Trump it’s rather misleading to predict how much wall will be built. He frequently exceeds predictions.
He was just cleared to use $4.5 billion redirected from military funds.
One other thing that pleases me, is the new trade agreement with Mexico and Canada. There are probably more things I would liked to have seen addressed, but there is one thing I like.
The new agreement has been panned as not saving the U. S. nearly as much as folks had first thought it would. Low and behold, it is projected to save us about as much as the wall will cost.
Trump is a clever guy.
