Theres been a lot of heat of late over the release of The Hunt, a movie written by Nick Cuse and Damon Lindel in which twelve Republican-supporting strangers wake up in a clearing and realize that theyre being hunted by liberal elites, calling them deplorables.
Universal will no longer be releasing the BlumHouse film on September 27th as planned. They initially paused marketing campaign for the film, then stated that While Universal Pictures had already paused the marketing campaign for The Hunt, after thoughtful consideration, the studio has decided to cancel our plans to release the film. We stand by our filmmakers and will continue to distribute films in partnership with bold and visionary creators, like those associated with this satirical social thriller, but we understand that now is not the right time to release this film.

Nevertheless, producer of the movie and founder of BlumHouse Productions, Jason Blum had already made his opinions about Trump and the current administration rather clear.
When he was doing press for Happy Death Day, the movie he produced a couple of years ago, they asked him what he would do if he could keep reliving the same day, and would be able to act without any consequences. While director Chris Landon said he would eat and eat and eat, Jason Blum said I would take out the current administration followed by laughter by Landon. Blum, however, looked rather serious

Did you vote for Donald J Trump for President in 2016?
Do you plan to vote for Donald J Trump for President in 2020?
If you answer “yes” to either question, the left intends to kill you.
Plan accordingly.
Do you know the origins of gun control laws? You appear to be an astute individual.
The movie is every liberal’s wet dream, so it will eventually be released.
So he threatens to kill the President. Somebody needs to raise a red flag on this red fag.
In the USA market. How about Canada and the international theater venues? They have several million dollars they will attempt to recover and still see a way to damage this nation.
I think that Hollyweird is going to notice a considerable drop in ticket sales going forward.
They specifically said they would probably release it elsewhere at a later date, probably a streaming service ad they can still get paid.
It's kind of already been done, by the same production company actually: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Green_Inferno_(film)
“The way things are going, it looks as they will get their chance.”
What do you mean? “get their chance”, to do exactly what?
I say the President gets a copy and demands that every channel plays it. Two showings a night for a week straight.
Then play parts of this interview during the commercial breaks.
It’ll give the Undecided Voters, the Independents, etc a chance to see what the Left, Liberals and Hollywood really think. Help them make up their minds. If they go with the Left, let ‘em.
However, if/when this sh*t kicks off, it’s going to be ugly, very ugly. And folks like Blum and Langdon won’t know what hit them.
Who’s that knockin’ at ma door?
“...his satirical social thriller...”
My back hole.
Sorry to see this. “Happy Death Day” is a cute movie.
Why do they love government so much they would kill to get more of it?
But nothing that I have read, or seen, so far, seems to hint at satire. Can somebody explain to me where it is?
It has little to do with doing the right thing and more to do with winning the political argument.
I suspect there have already been attempts thwarted by DJT’s private security or the SS. I would not trust SS as I am sure Mr. Trump does not. Every part of the Justice system has been compromised. Why not Treasury and Homeland Security?
Trump has to rely on obscure code words and dog whistles that only toy poodles can decipher while the lefties say things a on truly minimal tangents.
All things come to they who wait. Wait and see. When it happens, then you will know.
