The opposite seems to be true to me. Reminding us common folk that we are viewed as deplorables is not to the elites advantage. Showing the elite as murderers and common folk as victims that somehow manage to fight back (probably as the heroes) also seems to violate the normal play book.

Yes, if The Deplorables win at the end, killing the movie is not a win for the deplorables.
