It’s not shocking at all if they wanted him dead.
Yes, “shocking.” Uh huh.
Who made the decision to take him off suicide watch? Probably the same person who decided to not send reinforcements into Ben Ghazi. Nobody.
Perhaps their union will even allow them to answer.
Garroted himself to death.
Happens every day...
Only person most shocked is/was Epstein
It’s interesting that all these people are now saying ‘Shocking! Appalling!’...
> some staff are going to have some hard questions to answer <
And heads will roll! Some low-ranking patsy guards will get fired or demoted (and they probably had nothing to do with it).
And then a panel will be appointed to revise the prison manual. Case closed.
Notice who we are not hearing from. I have seen interviews with FORMER detectives, prison guards, a DOJ lawyer, a criminal lawyer...but I have heard NOTHING from official sources. I haven’t seen interviews, heard sound bites, or seen a prepared statement by a spokesman. Maybe it’s happened and I missed it. I suspect the reason is nobody in the great unwashed mass of The Public believes this was a suicide. If it was, there was gross incompetence. If it was murder there was a conspiracy. In either case the government has a dozen ostrich eggs on its face.
Or maybe a prisoner who has underage children on the outside?
Remember, anyone in jail who has abused children in a sexual manner are considered outcasts even in prison.
For what it’s worth, a couple of people posting yesterday said this series of events has all the indicators of a high-profile person who is being put in a witness protection program. Hmm ...
Nope.
Another conspiracy.
Too many conspiracy theories NUTJOBS out there.
> Who made the decision to take him off suicide watch? <
It will all be traced back to a paperwork or communications mistake. In other words, its nobodys fault. It was just a procedural error.
Wink, wink. Nod, nod.
How do we know he is dead?
Standard procedure with high profile, suicide risk, when the cameras are down. One officer outside the cell with visual on the prisoner 24/7. The Bureau of Prisons and this jail were either highly incompetent or complicit.
Last night someone posted he was no longer suicidal according to the jail. You dont speculate you take the safest route. He had a very recent attempt. Given the potential powerful people he could name, the threats to him if he went to prison, how could he not be suicidal.
Were I in charge off the jail, I would have glued officers to him till he was no longer my responsibility. The death, suicide or not, proves the assessment of his suicide risk was bull shot.
