Don’t the eyes pop open when dead?
??? Do not know, but if so, they can be closed, right?
The paramedics would have closed them. I asked my daughter (paramedic for 6 years) this very question. She laughe and said she doesn’t need dead people looking at them while they pump up and down on them for 20 minutes. Or until they get in the truck.
I don’t think he was dead at the time of the photo. He died later because his brain had been without oxygen for too long.
You can close the lids.

The eyeballs often pop right out when dead by hanging.
I don’t know. But in two instances in which I had to get deceased patients and take them to the morgue, their eyes were closed. (I worked in a hospital at the time.)
