Liberals are mad that SoulCycle founder Stephen Ross and Miami Dolphins owner Joe Farrell are hosting fundraisers for President Trump. There was a deluge of tweets from those saying they were canceling their SoulCycle memberships, though the establishment doesn’t offer them. This knee-jerk reaction to simply boycott things because you don’t like Trump is a common occurrence ever since the 2016 election. Liberal meltdowns are always epic to watch. Too bad; he’s president. We won. You lost. And as the Democratic field tears each other apart, he can fill his war chest—and he has. In these dual fundraisers, the GOP raised some $12 million (via WaPo):
President Trump raised $12 million at two Hamptons fundraisers Friday, adding to the massive campaign warchest he’s amassing for his 2020 re-election campaign.
Trump retweeted Republican National Committee Chairwoman Ronna McDaniel, who wrote: “Thanks to the unhinged mob on the left, @realDonaldTrump raised $12M today, $2M more than originally expected. The support for our President is unprecedented and growing!”
Trump’s first event, hosted by billionaire real estate developer and fitness chains owner Stephen Ross, was not without controversy. This week businesses owned by Ross have been boycotted by Trump critics, including by some celebrities, who were furious about the Trump reelection fundraiser at Ross’s Hamptons home.
Before leaving for New York on Friday morning, Trump defended Ross.
“He’s a great friend of mine; he’s a very successful guy. We were competitors but friends in real estate in New York in the old days,” Trump told reporters outside the White House. “He’s probably more inclined to be a liberal if you want to know the truth, but he likes me, he respects me.”
[…]
Trump dismissed the backlash Ross is facing over the fundraiser, saying, “it just makes Steve much hotter.”
The price for attending this event, as you would expect was steep, with a tag of up to $250,000. But that’s money well spent to Make America Great Again or in this cycle, Keep America Great.
Tickets were $250,000? Wish I could’ve afforded to go.
At 250 a pop, thats 48 well-heeled contributors. Before the SoulCycle thing, they expected 40.
The RNC says it was 12 mil
meanwhile, Republicans spend my meager donation sending me letters asking for more money.
A very Trumpian line about Ross: “Hes probably more inclined to be a liberal if you want to know the truth, but he likes me, he respects me.
This is proof positive that the President will sail through another election, is it not?
Let us instead focus on removing the stench from the House and Senate.
You should have been there. It was a good time for sure. LOL!
Now you know why the Castros outed the Trump contributors. They were told to do so by the DNC in an attempt to discourage people from donating to Trump. Trump is cleaning their plow on money, and the DNC is so desperate they are diving deep into their playbook. The Democrats cannot match Trump on ideas nor money and it is causing them to expose their craziness in epic proportions. Don’t we just love it!!!!!!!!!
Forget the twelve million bucks POTUS, Trump raised in his two fund raisers held on the Long Island East End. That’s just simple peanuts. Trump is rolling in tons of cash from small donors across the entire country and across the entire world. Contributions of $1.00, $5.00, $10.00, $25,00, $50.00, %100.00 per month are flowing in like water out of an open spigot.
The Media predicts POTUS Donald J.Trump will raise over a billion dollars....I predict Trump will raise over two billion dollars to finance his 2020 POTUS re-election bid!!!
Take note: POTUS, Donald J. Trump will be hosting a gigantic, massive political campaign rally this coming Thursday, August 15, 2019 in Manchester, New Hampshire at the SBHU Arena (Capacity-13,000 people). Crowd is expected to between 15,000-20,000 Trump supporters Contact: www.donaldjtrump.com for further information and to get two (2) free tickets on request. “BE THERE”!!!
Wait! He cant take foreign money so the across the world thing?
Taxes are not high enough if they can afford to give to Trump ,LOL
you know what, I am glad DJT raised a bunch of money.
I am also VERY disturbed by DJT and Mitch McConnell’s recent gun control messaging.
The Second Amendment is ALWAYS attacked after these lunatics go on a rampage. Instead of stopping lunatics, the gun grabbers come out. And it seems that this time the two most powerful Republicans in government are echoing the gun grabbers.
not good.
Thousands of American citizens eligble, including USA military folks, to vote in the USA but, work, serve and live in foreign countries can vote & contribute and do!!!
Flaming liberal Ina Garten is probably miffed.
“How easy was that?!”
Proof the left has no idea what sane people want, they have no clue how to speak to the sane only their pre programed tribes who always wait for the gravy train to arrive.
Ever notice when you speak to a liberal they don’t listen to all the words only a select few and that’s all they hear so they can spin what they think they did hear.
See news media
What you said.
BUT, I am keeping the faith that nothing meaningful will come of this, just as nothing came from the amnesty issue that drove so many Freepers into hysterics.
Thats not foreign money.
The money advantage + his ability to win on a fraction of that, will definitely even out a lot from 2016.
And the thing is that he will spend it.
