Yep. I’m still a member and will continue to be a member along with family, friends, neighbors and all. Democrats wring their hands and beat their drums against the NRA more than any other organization.
Oliver North should have kept his beef with LaPierre internal. The guy living the high life on member fees isn’t great, but the Left is certainly loving having the NRA emasculated this week. If we lose this fight, I’ll blame Oliver South more than LaPierre.

Wayne Lapierre does deserve a high salary and physical protection. He is a target. If he is living large outside of the above two subjects something is wrong. I do not know if he is doing this.

Yes they do. Because the NRA is effective. Come to think about it, I have never heard the Democrats or the media[Again the Democrats] complain against any other gun owning organization. It could have happened and I missed it, nut I never heard of one.
The NRA's problems aren't simply a case of bad publicity.
They are incorporated in the state of New York, and are under investigation by the New York Attorney General for violation of their tax-exempt status.

Perhaps, perhaps not. I believe there’s some bonafide questions to be asked concerning LaPierre’s alleged” exhorbinate” spending habits.
Oliver North got fired for asking these questions and I happen to respect him and put credence in his opinions.
If everything is on the up and up, great. But shining a bit of sunlight on this certainly can’t be a bad thing.
Most don’t know that the NRA came to maturity in NY. Its national matches were held on what later became Creedmor State Mental Hospital. The two main north south thoroughfares in the area are Springfield and Winchester Blvds. Nearby streets are Musket and Range. I think if DeBlasio had a clue about this he would seek to rename them.
