I guess fantasy is the realm of Hollywood. Trump supporters are the ones that are likely to be CCW and veterans. Liberals hunting? The other way around is more likely to the facts. The reality is the left would create concentration camps and kill conservatives if gun confiscation and control would be instituted.

The movie is not what you make it.
It is a take off on “The Hounds of Zaroff” which was a short story (published in Colliers in 1924) about a guy who fell off a yacht and got to an island where a Russian aristocrat hunted humans for sport.
In the end, the aristocrat was killed by the hunted. The movie has the same basic plotline, but the aristocrats here kidnap the prey and hunt them. It is clearly a slap (not an encouragement) to the elites, who view people as little better than animals, if better at all.
It is a take off as well on Ernest Hemingway’s famous quote “There is no hunting like the hunting of man, and those who have hunted armed men long enough and liked it, never care for anything else thereafter.”

Nowhere in the trailer or in the movie’s description does it say they’re hunting down Trump supporters. Also, it appears that the elites and the bad guys and the hunted are the good guys ... and one of them turns the tables on the hunters and kills them all to get to their leader.
