It is inevitable that all this BS will come to a head. It is time to draw lines in the sand and stand strong to protect them. Eliminating the electoral college is one, anymore firearm restrictions is another. We have been raped over and over and it is time to grow some gonads make a stand against it.

No more... Enough is enough.

“Idiots. Freaking Idiots.”

Yeah, it’s idiotic to have principles. Is there nothing Trump could do to lose your support? He will lose significant support if he jumps on the gun control bandwagon, and red flag laws are gun control laws.

Ok so don’t vote for Trump and Dem gets in as President as bans semi-automatic weapons and gets bill passed on gun control.

RINO Senators will cave under pressure and vote with Dems even if we still have Senate majority. Plus one less Senator vote with Dem VP.

We’re in agreement. When I voted for Trump I was voting to merely slow the decline of America.

The people will not allow it and the great “adjustment” will finally come.

“Online polls are worthless.

They will vote for the dems instead?”

No ... if a Commie Flag law passes the House/Senate and Trump signs it into law ... we’ll just do as we normally do on a Tuesday. Get up, go to work, come home, eat dinner, and go to bed.

We just won’t bother to go vote since there will be no one worth our vote. Why vote for people who will betray you at every turn.

It is actually better to have this debate now while Trump is Pres. and the senate is Republican. Take the guts out of the idea now and it will be much harder for the Dems to resurrect when they have power again.

But we have to do our part in this process and make ourselves heard and make ourselves clear. RF laws don’t fly around here.

I would definitely say I would not vote for Trump if he does this, but I would vote for him anyway.

I'd like to influence his behavior and I am under no legal or moral obligation to tell pollsters the truth.

Bingo! Trump negotiates with hyperbole and bluster when it’s needed why wouldn’t we follow his example? Art of the deal.

"I’m not aware of any abuses in my state."

Guess we can all breath a sigh of relief then...

Good to know that We certainly won't need any crazed Freepers riding their horses away from the North Church shouting the "Red Flags" are coming... The "Red Flags" are coming...

We serfs can just trust in the king and keep our mouths and voting hands shut and, this time, wait at the bridge and share some weed with those benevolent, well meaning "Red Flags"...

Same here, I never put anyone on a pedestal because I am always let down when I do. No one is infallible and this is the nature of humanity. While faith can be a good thing, total faith in man is more often blind than not.

Red flag laws violate the whole of the constitution. I am literally having trouble finding something that they don’t violate.

Suppose the new red flag law will force me to quarter troops?

And here’s the joke. Neither Trump nor the GOP will gain one.single.vote from their support of “red flag” laws. Nor will they win the soccer moms and country club crowd in sufficient numbers to offset losses among gun owners and conservatives.

Trump needs every single vote he can get. An unenthusiastic conservative electorate would be a disaster. People may harangue all day about the Democrats being worse. The older Bush, Dole, Romney, and even McCain would have been better Presidents than Clinton or Obama. However, all of the Republican candidates lost because of weak support among the base. For the first time since Reagan, the GOP base has been fired up. The last thing Trump needs is an unenthusiastic base,

Here is a Gun Owners of America (GOA) link to sign a petition/send emails to all 50 Senators against Graham’s Red Flag bill.

Thank you.

I haven’t lost trust in Pres. Trump but that doesn’t mean I should take him for granted. If he doesn’t get feedback from us who is to blame if he doesn’t act on our wishes?

We have a role to play. We are the sovereigns not audience members. And I don’t think Trump has ever claimed to be a mind reader.

Nor has any politician ... except maybe Kucinich.

Absolutely!I believe that the Constitution declares that mo one shall be deprived of life, liberty, or property without due process of law. This, Mr. Walkingdead, is a hill to die on. If necessary.
