Fox's Tucker Carlson is being roundly criticized for claiming that America's white supremacy problem "is a hoax."
It's "just like the Russia hoax," he told his viewers on Tuesday night. "It's a conspiracy theory used to divide the country and keep a hold on power."
This nonsensical claim came after several days of scrutiny of the El Paso suspect's racist views and the forces that may have radicalized him. News outlets have pointed out that some of the anti-immigrant "invasion" language in the manifesto published online shortly before the attack mirrors what is frequently heard on far-right-wing talk shows and websites. And many prominent politicians have warned about the growing threat of white nationalist violence.
Carlson responded in a monologue on Tuesday night. He asserted that "the whole thing is a lie." And he downplayed the threat by saying it's "actually not a real problem in America. The combined membership of every white supremacist organization in this country would be able to fit inside a college football stadium."

The Dems have nothing positive to offer, so they make up lies, trying to set people against each other.
Amazing how smoothly they’ve switched from RUSSIA RUSSIA RUSSIA to RACIST RACIST RACIST.
tucker carlson is white, yes?
I saw the Carlson piece.
He’s completely correct.
Does CNN do anything BUT lie?
Tucker Carlson called the Dems out on their accusations.
I don’t know a single White supremacist.
I don’t see them on TV. I do see folks saying Whites are a this or that, painting with a broad brush.
The real racists in the nation today, are not Whites, except where their racism is aimed at Whites. Even Blacks are beginning to call others out based on their anti-White racism.
Can’t wait to see Tucker’s response to Stelter tonight.
Its Obviously completely made up. The Media made it up.
Unfortunately for the idiot left, there is WAY more demand for white racism than there is supply. The fake news creates the demand, the fake news must come up with a supply source, so they make it up.
Perhaps the hate filled Left is upset, but all I'm hearing is applause for Tucker - his show is now MUST SEE TV - he's really grown into the role as top news commentator.
I read the HEADLINE and said to myself, “This piece of garbage just had to come from CNN somehow.”
So I scrolled back to the top to find out and GUESS WHAT.
It’s August and if CNN told me it was going to be really HOT, I’d get out my winter coat and snow boots.
Tucker is 100% right. The media blathers on and on about racism when the U.S.A is just about the LEAST racist country in the world. Show me any other country in the world with a significant multiracial population that gets along so well and in which people from all races enjoy positions of power, prestige and influence. The Euro trash snicker about American racists but in their countries you rarely if ever see a non-white person in any sort of important role. Try going over the wealthy Asian countries like Japan or South Korea and try to start running things if you’re a non-Japanese or non-Korean person. Good luck with that.
“I dont know a single White supremacist. I dont see them on TV.”
On TV there’s a distinct black supremacist issue.
While I don’t feel,it’s a hoax, I do feel it’s overthe hyped. Everything else he said I agree with.
Brian Patrick Stelter is an American political commentator and is the chief media correspondent for CNN and host of the CNN show Reliable Sources. Previously he was a media reporter for The New York Times and the editor of TVNewser.
I dont know a single White supremacist.
That’s because you aren’t a nutball. Those guys do exist. They are the flotsam and jetsam of society out looking for attention. They went from “white supremacist” to “skinheads” and now back to “white supremacist” because that is what gets a reaction.
His commentary at the start of each show is always MUST SEE TV. However, there are a couple of dem jackasses that he hosts quite often that I cannot stand. At that point, I change the channel.
Yes, but that was basically in a blog.
But now it made it to CNN.
I’ve spent my entire adult life watching People at every level public and private worry about nothing but pleasing minorities in avoiding the slightest controversy with minorities. Nonetheless, we’re told that this is a white supremacist nation where everyone is out murdering minorities. Now we are supposed to allow the writings of mentally ill people to determine our political decisions for a nation of 350 million.
