A photo of the front page of Tuesday's New York Times sparked immediate criticism on Monday night – including from several 2020 Democratic presidential candidates. The headline read, "Trump urges unity vs. racism." It comes after President Donald Trump addressed the nation following mass shootings in Dayton, Ohio, and El Paso, Texas, that killed nine and 22 people, respectively. The headline ran in the Times' first print edition and was changed in subsequent editions, the Times told USA TODAY in a statement Tuesday.

The NYT also changed this sub headline from “An National Outcry Over Extremism” to “Backlash to Extremism Pressures President” .
This article pretty much confirms that the nyt is the media spokesrag of the dnc.

For starters, the Tribune was a REPUBLICAN newspaper back then, there was NO 24 hour T.V., news programs were ONLY on at 5:00PM in Chicago, campaign and election coverage was VERY different, and the news wires is where papers got their more or less on time info.
And Truman was NOT considered to be going to win, this election, by many people, so his win WAS surprising! And that paper, with the wrong banner headline was pulled VERY fast and was, even on that day, a collector's item, because so few got out/were sold with it.
They’ve gone from “Trump Russia” 24/7 to “Trump is a Racist” 24/7.
Nothing must interfere with the narrative.
Gotta love that un-biased media...
