Thank you, Mr. Trump!

Sorry, that was in Mark’s neverTrumper days.
Cummings should be hanging his head in shame. This is something he could have organized himself years ago. What a useless POS he is.
PT at 33 percent approval wit African-Americans!
Nice idea but it won’t last long. Some people have no concern about living in trash. I give it one month and it will all be back to normal. (A filthy rat infested mess)
Still it is nice to see a positive story, amongst all the tragic ones.
In reality Trump is not a racist at all, and truly believes in second chances, and restoring, rebuilding into something better.
Sometime back, OAN covered his remarks, (They are the only network that consistently covers him whenever he talks), about his prison reform program. He was was speaking openly and was completely sincere about wanting people to be given a chance to start over.
I wish every media outlet had shown it.
But as I said, nothing must stand in the way of their (MSM) stirring up hatred and discord for the benefit of the democrat party.

Trump believes in redemption.
That should have the Dems shaking in their boots.
You can take the people out of the trash but you can’t take the trash out of the people.
Here in rural Missouri you see countless examples of folks dumping garbage out their back door. Some set it on fire which we can smell in the wind.
clean up your own crap This is co-dependant behavior. I taught my kids ti clean their rooms I didn’t do it for them.
Like LA and sanfransicko, you need bulldozers and industrial disinfectants.
Being poor has nothing to do with keeping your house or yard clean. Most of the time it is because the person is drunk or on drugs. It is not a physical issue. They are not wheelchair bound. They are most likely just lazy.
Just yesterday I went out and picked up trash along my rural road in NH. Out my driveway, 1 mile north and back. I picked up the following aluminum cans: 3 Bud lite, 2 Labatts, 2 soda cans, 1 monster energy, 2 Natural lites, and 13 Miller Lites. In addition, multiple fast food bags, wrappers, etc.
There is a guy who lives north of me I hypothesize who must buy a Miller Lite after work, drink it and pitch it out the window before he gets home. I figure its a guy because I find chewing tobacco spew in the occasional can. Not to many women chew tobacco.
I understand that stuff flies out of the back of pickup trucks sometimes. I am on my third Toyota Tacoma. This is not the case. Some guy is purposely doing this.
There is also some person who drinks Tito’s Vodka(could be the same person) and throws the empty bottles out in the same stretch north or south of my driveway. I am not talking little nips bottles. I have found 1/2 liter, 3/4 liter and even 1.75 liter bottles.
I am not a t-totaler. I drink alcohol. I even probably disposed of an empty beer container once when I was too young. This person has a serious problem. I suspect that their house probably looks like these dumps you see in Baltimore or you see on COPS on TV.
“””I understand that stuff flies out of the back of pickup trucks sometimes.”””
I was driving down US 1 here in FL and stopped at a red light, guy next to me is waving me to open my window. I open and he say’s there is trash flying out of the bed of your truck and a can hit my bumper. I told him I don’t keep trash in my truck and rolled up the window.
I got to home depo and looked into the bed, sure enough someone threw there kitchen trash bag in the back and it was open.
I wondered where that came from then remembered I was out the night before having dinner/drinks and someone must of threw it in there from where I was parked.
Just like in Detroit there are blocks where 9 out of 10 houses are not inhabitable. They need to be demolished.
These structures can not be rebuilt. There may be whole blocks that it would be better to flatten. Disconnect the electricity, shut off the gas, flatten the buildings and plant trees.
bump
Being neat, clean, and picking up after yourself is a learned behavior taught by ones parents. I recall when I was approximately 10 years old I threw a candy wrapper out of my Father’s car window while traveling. My Father stopped the car about 1 mile down the road and directed me, (You read that right - “DIRECTED” me) to walk back down the road, pick up the wrapper, and walk back to the car. I then held on to the wrapper and deposited in the trash can back at our house. Yes I did learn this lesson well.
“They are most likely just lazy.”
I think that says it all.
Yes. My grandmother came here as an immigrant and worked as a maid. She married another immigrant who had a basic factory job. Her husband died when my mother was 5. This was Chicago,at the start of the Depression. Fast forward 40 years later when Chicago had public housing and it didn't take long for it to turn into a filthy, dangerous shambles. My grandmother would look at the images on tv and say there was no excuse for not keeping things clean.

I cannot imagine. We are rural and everyone has a burn barrel or a burn pile, but we wait until there is no wind, everything is wet or frozen and it’s burnable trash, not actual garbage.
We sometimes have a lot of such trash and if conditions are favorable, we burn it under metal sheeting, so it doesn’t flare and everything gets reduced to ash. We stage water as well as making sure there is no wind or dry brush.
Who would endanger themselves/property/neighbors? The fines for causing a wildfire are steep and carry legal charges.
And if you can smell it, can’t they?
