Wherever they live, whatever their background, what is it about that age range?
It’s like a cumulation of troubles from childhood through the teen years finally reaches the point of no return in that age range.

well white boys these days are told they’re the scourge of the earth all through school and on cable news so that’s something.
No jobs and it hasn’t really expected of them to get jobs since there were none. There are now but they have no clue what getting a job and work are.

When I was young the schools had ‘gun clubs’ and kids would bring their guns to school and put them in their lockers.
We didn’t have any mass shootings. None. And no one worried that a gun club kid would kill his fellow students and teachers. Our culture is in meltdown... the sign posts have been washed away. That’s why this is happening.
The brain chemistry, hormones, neurology is different at that age, particular to males. Homicidal and suicidal impulses in rare cases are triggered by the use if SSRI anti-depressants in adolescent males.
With EVERY school shooter, use of these RX drugs was involved.
Don’t blame guns, blame doctors. They and parents do not carefully monitor young men with the red-flag profile. This is not all socio- and psychological. Mass murders by young men very frequently involve SSRI’s. There’s a warning label right in the insert.
