Laws don’t work for a broken person.
What do you propose? Until we can turn the culture in a better direction (which is not an easy thing to do, if possible at all), I think there needs to be “SOME” mechanism to make it more difficult for nut cases to have easy access to guns (yes, even their parents guns). Hell, maybe parents need to get off their ass and do something when their kids start going down this dark hole. It happens slowly over time and their are plenty of early warning signals.
I guaran-damn-tee any laws they would pass for that would only make it more difficult for law-abiding citizens to defend themselves.

The shooters over the past 10 years have been every race and color. And that’s exactly what he should have said. But Trump has a problem when it comes to believing democrats really hate him and he thinks if he says what they want to hear it’ll change things. But it won’t. It never will. Caving to these lowlifes is pathetic.
No doubt. Remember the one shooter guy, can’t remember his name that had freshly applied conservative stickers on his van. Libs love trying to fake stuff.

1. School teachers, k-12 and college, vocational schools, will have the ability and incentive to report “suspicious” behavior of students and student's parents to a “behavioral threat assessment and management” team; which is coordinated via FEMA Fusion Centers.
2. ALL medical professionals will have the government sanctioned ability to report any patient whom they suspect of being “radical” or mentally unsuitable for gun ownership. Again, completely arbitrary.

I do not think many people think their racial makeup is better or worse than others, but I do think it arguable that Western Culture arising out of the Greek, Roman, Judeo, Christian cultures has done more for the good of the human race than have others. But that is not racial. It is open to everyone. That is why the world wants to come to America, which is the result of that Western culture.
I think Trump needs to reject the concept and words white supremacy. It is meant divide.

Are parents being informed when their sons act up? Are parents informed when doctors prescribe drugs for their sons?

Maybe we should remove nut cases from society like we used to! No we don’t have to chain them to walls, treat them with leeches, electroshock or cold water, etc. We treat them with whatever therapy modern drugs are available. We don’t just automatically let them unsupervised (after the age of 18!) into society where they pinky swear that they show up for therapy & take their drugs.
None of the proposals regarding background checks would have prevented this! Soccer moms what a zero error system which is impossible but the desire for that level of perfection will be leveraged to end the 2nd Amendment. Mark my words!
I think most reasonable people understand that laws can be written too broad or too narrow. I would be opposed to a law that is too broad. The devils in the details. This is a conversation we should be having and a small stop-gap measure...get the RIGHT laws passed not just ANY law. All this with being said with the rational understanding that there will always be “EVIL People” with bad intentions, and you can’t simply legislate evil out of existence.
Worrying about his image is his downside. Of course he has been building his image his whole life. Now all the ‘famous’ people that used to love him, hate him.
Where gun ownership is virtually forbidden?
Who gets to decide who the nut cases are? One persons nut case may be another persons patriot...
Well then just pass some more laws.
