EL PASO, Texas (AP) A young gunman opened fire in an El Paso, Texas, shopping area packed with as many as 3,000 people during the busy back-to-school season Saturday, leaving 20 dead and more than two dozen injured.
~snip~
Adriana Quezada, 39, said she was in the womens clothing section of Walmart with her two children when she heard gunfire.
But I thought they were hits, like roof construction, she said of the shots.
Her 19-year-old daughter and 16-year-old son threw themselves to the ground, then ran out of the store through an emergency exit. They were not hurt, Quezada said.
She said she saw four men, dressed in black, moving together firing guns indiscriminately. Police later said they believed the suspect, who was armed with a rifle, was the only shooter.
They got the right perp, he will go to trial and an El Paso County jury will sentence him to death.
How much faster if they nail him with a federal sentence? That’s what needs to happen.
Other reports of more than one shooter.
Would a white supremacist kill white people?
Ya, sure. Thats why there are so many extensive reports of Santa, velociraptors, and the Pillsbury dough boy as shooters....wait, no, just ninjas that are never found. Multiple shootings now were reported as multiple shooter with at least one ninja but only a single non-ninja shlub with apparently no training gets tagged. Eye witnesses are unreliable and do make mistakes about the color of jacket or make of car or something, they dont and wouldnt all invent ninjas and certainly nots squads of them.
There is...Wallyworld has cameras everywhere.
Probably not that much faster. TX does it well and quickly.
Someone posted earlier that the one shooter we have seen had only a 30 rounds
This has also been bothering me, ever since I saw the photos of the shooter entering the walmart. Looking at the pictures I did not see extra magazines, although he may have had some.
Looking closely he certainly did not have any in his hands or attached to himself above the waist. He did have some sort of cargo pant on but ak magazines do not really fit well in cargo pant pockets. Generally you should have been able to see them in the picture.
Now lets say that he did have extra magazines. How many would he have needed? We know by the casualty numbers he would have needed more than one.
Using our good friend math, we can determine he needed at least two magazines. I would even say that number is unlikely as hit shot/hit ratio would be extraordinarily high.
So let us settle on at least 3 magazines, perhaps, more likely, even 4.
So where, in the pictures given to us, are those 2-3 extra 30rd mags? No way he reloaded the same magazine, and even if he did, the extra 60-90 rounds of 7.62 would be noticeable in his pocket in the picture.
What we know for sure is that walmart security footage knows the answer.
There were allegedly four men in black then, too?
Another gentlemen interviewed said he say the shooter twice. Said he wore all black with a mask covering his face. You could see his eyes though, the man reported.
I find this interesting as the gentlemen had a good eye for detail in his reporting of the events, but did not say anything about headphones being on the shooter. Couple this with no mask and tan pants, and it seems this gentlemen saw someone else. Another shooter.
You mean like the Twin Peaks shooting in Waco?
Only ballistics on the bullets can clear this up.
In the picture that’s at least a 40 round magazine.
Hmm. How long before CNN calls it a MAGAzine?

Arms expert believes there were four shooters, and says why. I find him believable, if for no other reason than the magazine on shooters rifle only held 30 shots.....and a moving gunman shooting at moving targets would need more bullets.
Let me know what you think of this guy at the link.
See my link in post after yours....what do you think of it? Sounds totally reasonable to me, since early reports said there were three or four shooters.
