EL PASO, Texas (AP) — A young gunman opened fire in an El Paso, Texas, shopping area packed with as many as 3,000 people during the busy back-to-school season Saturday, leaving 20 dead and more than two dozen injured.

Adriana Quezada, 39, said she was in the women’s clothing section of Walmart with her two children when she heard gunfire.
“But I thought they were hits, like roof construction,” she said of the shots.
Her 19-year-old daughter and 16-year-old son threw themselves to the ground, then ran out of the store through an emergency exit. They were not hurt, Quezada said.
She said she saw four men, dressed in black, moving together firing guns indiscriminately. Police later said they believed the suspect, who was armed with a rifle, was the only shooter.

Someone posted earlier that the one shooter we have seen had only a 30 rounds.

If I was a White Supremacist looking to kill Hispanics I wouldn’t pick a Walmart. Too much chance to hit whites and blacks by mistake. There are plenty of markets that cater specifically to Hispanics and you could easily find one even if you didn’t know the area well.
You mean like the Las Vegas shooting last October?

People see what they want to see sometimes during high stress situations. Some actually go into a dream like state of shock where their mind plays all kinds of tricks.

....and you wouldn’t need to drive 10 hours to El Paso to find the same targets in the DFW area.

Very good point. In that town there are numerous Spanish only stores catering to Mexicans. And you are likely to find just as many Mexicans in a Dallas or Houston Walmart.
I have seen strange dressed police in El Paso. Wearing almost all black. Could not tell what they were lol.
Or Waco, (the thing a few years ago)

Typical average American...can’t tell gun shots when they hear them. Not all but far too many.
Funny how the screenshots of the two Walmart surveillance cams were put out so quickly...yet....where is the vid from all of the other cams in the store?
