The father of the 21-year-old man arrested for the El Paso shooting massacre was a drug addict for almost 40 years and is now an energy healer who claims to have had visions of Jesus Christ and his dead grandmother, DailyMail.com can reveal.
Patrick Crusius allegedly killed at least 20 people and injured 26 on a gun rampage which began in a Walmart parking lot in El Paso, Texas on Saturday morning before he was arrested by police.
His father, Bryan Crusius, 63, revealed in a 2014 memoir details of the broken home his son grew up in, confessing to decades of drug and alcohol abuse that led to the breakup of both his first marriage and his 18-year relationship with the alleged shooter’s mother.
The book offers some insight into the mass shooter’s upbringing - but not what turned him into an apparently white supremacist-inspired multiple murderer who was cold-blooded enough to make sure he was taken alive.

Crusius’ father is supposedly an avowed atheist. That must have been a real ‘come to Jesus’ moment when he supposedly had that vision.
At least Dad won’t have to dwell on this given his self help skills now.
As I just posted on another thread, the root cause of this and most other such incidents comes down to bad parenting. The job of parents is to instill respect for others, a sense of values, and discipline to obey rules and law so that antisocial behavior like this does not happen.
We are seeing a pattern here, all to frequently repeated for this to be the rare exception of kids who suffer from a mental disease that negates what they were taught. They admit these are deliberate acts and the parents must shoulder much responsibility.

OK, so we know the El Paso shooter was raised/influenced by his drug-cooked, New Age-y, Higher Consciousness, crystals and incense daddy, and the Dayton shooter was a registered Dem who liked to wear Satanic patches on his clothes. The dots are really starting to connect themselves on their own here. Guns were just a convenient method of acting out was in their sick, culturally twisted minds. They could have just as easily built chlorine gas bombs to carry it out. What then, Dems, call for the banning on laundry bleach? In the larger scheme of things, liberals are the propagators and enablers of this becoming more common in society.

Yes, and having a drug addicted father when he wad conceived certainly didn’t held this creature to grow into anything other than what he became. Indeed, this bit of family history will probably be the central part of his defense.
