(CNN)Multiple people were killed Saturday in a shooting in El Paso, Texas, according to local police.
At least one person is in custody, El Paso Police Sgt. Enrique Castillo told reporters, and authorities don't believe there is an ongoing threat.

Unless it has been illegally modified the AK is semi automatic.
Before perforating him with a couple of hundred rounds, he needs to have every bit of data extracted from his brain with whatever method works the quickest. Drugs. Waterboarding. Electroshock. Propane torch therapy. All of it recorded and then he’s let out the back door “trying to escape” as full-auto magazine upon magazine rips him apart.
He needs to run through the legal system.
Think of all that money we have to spend to do that.

UPDATE: 2:26 p.m. – A spokesperson from Del Sol hospital confirms they received a total of 11 victims ranging in age from 35 years old to 82 years old.
Two of those patients are in stable condition and nine are listed in critical condition.

So your position is that the people who will call the AK-47 an automatic weapon are going to have this level of expertise rather than just calling it an automatic weapon because it looks scary?

I don’t know what to believe, right now. too many numbers and too much hearsay/guessing going around the media, and the cops aren’t talking hard numbers.
Witness reports talk about “pops” and that people didn’t know what they were at first. Have not seen reports of machine gun style firing, for whatever that may be worth.
Not going to be good news in any event. Pray for the people in El Paso.
