I have Apple computers, and Apple stock, and I’m about to get rid of both.

I have never owned an Apple product. Mac, iPod, iPhone, iPad. I've also never used iTunes. So reason other than I never saw the need. My job in defense contracting involved Unix and Windows-based OS systems, so I used similar away from work to keep training myself on the various platforms.

That said, eliminating any investment in Applr would be difficult because I am sure in the stock and bond mutual funds I have owned over the years (and likely now), some portion of it was/is invested in Apple.

How are these tech companies not publishers?????

Commence the first amendment lawsuits!!!

Cripple them with suits until they create and maintain a level playing field on their media publications!!!

I agree on these points about the eGOP and PP funding.

I didn’t realize - or have a rough memory otherwise - that LSN was an active participant in the usual eGOP BS parade.

Indeed, I’m fairly sure they threw the book at Paul Ryan at multiple times the past few years.

I could see there someday being NEW Nuremberg Trials for all these nazi-esque censors working against Freedom in America.

This time they will need to do a better job searching for suicide pills.

I see a link to sign a petition.

I think refusing to buy Apple products would sent a louder message.

Perhaps I was a bit too harsh on LSN. They do good work generally. I was just referencing one particular vote and exchange I had on twitter with their social media person.

Is there a product made by some company that does NOT hate us that can replace my iPhone 5c?

I know Android is made by Gewgle, so that one is right out.

To the contrary. I’m results oriented. It’s the GOP always fully funding PP and other Dem pet projects like NPR. Why does the GOP never fight as hard for the babies as the Dems do to kill them?

Because most of them stand for zilch-a-roons, but you already know that.

I think that a better way is to directly own stock in them and then raise hell at the stockholder meetings, if you have the money.

I don’t know?
Anybody have a suggestion?

Maybe just buy a decent older used phone from a vendor on eBay or local repair shop...then we are not contributing directly to Apple or Google...

Specifically, they stated that LifeSite’s “[c]hannel content shows intolerance towards a specific group.”

Democrats show "intolerance towards a specific group," namely Republicans; and Republicans show intolerance towards Democrats.

Both those groups must be banned from the Apple platform as well.

LifeSiteNews carries water for the GOPe and their beltway kabuki votes. Hard to feel much sympathy given that.

Here is another example of reporting by Lifesite Niews...I think you are on wrong side of this...

https://freerepublic.com/focus/f-bloggers/3768857/posts

On Wednesday, the Democrat-controlled U.S. House of Representatives unanimously passed a controversial “gay reparations” bill that will entitle same-sex couples to millions of dollars in tax refunds for their “marriages” which were not previously recognized under federal tax law.

LifeSite News reports:

“The PRIDE (Promoting Respect for Individuals’ Dignity and Equality) Act removes sex-specific terms such as ‘husband’ and ‘wife’ from the federal tax code, and allows couples “married” while the Defense of Marriage Act (which protected states and the federal government from having to recognize same-sex “marriages” from states that chose to recognize them) to claim tax refunds for which they were ineligible.

“The U.S. Supreme Court struck down DOMA in 2013. The Washington Blade reported that the Joint Committee on Taxation put the estimated amount the feds could have to pay out if the bill becomes law at $67 million.

“The PRIDE Act passed the House on Wednesday by voice vote, meaning lawmakers were not required to put a vote on the record. Notably, no Republican resisted. The Hill noted that New York GOP Rep. Tom Reed expressed a technical concern about the legislation but supported its core purpose to ‘make sure our tax code is reflective of the law of the land as it has been declared by the Supreme Court.’”
