A Congressional candidate who is challenging Rep. Justin Amash, a recently-turned Michigan Independent, has been banned from Instagram.
Tom Norton received the following message from the Facebook-owned platform:

It is obvious election interference because they didn’t ban the individual’s account but the obvious congressional one.
Instagram caters to a much younger, more impressionable, demographic.
Before the tech giants existed the newspapers did the exact same thing.....especially large nationally owned local newspapers like Gannett, etc......
Then it was the radio....then TV broadcasters.....
The elite telling the “little people” how to think and vote has gone on for millennia.....
Same story, different medium.....

None of the MSM or other leftists are going to make the move. Famous people aren’t going to make the move. Tech people aren’t going to make the move. Politicians aren’t going to make the move.
That means the sheeple in general aren’t going to make the move. I tried to pry my family(distant family + wife) away from facebook. nope
It’s like asking your kids if they want to move to the boonies and leave all their friends behind.

Facebook is already sorting all comments for you and conservative comments have to be clicked to be opened if they don’t meet guidelines

I've heard that many of the younger set are moving to Instagram because of the political acid-throwing on Twitter.
Twitter is a vile open sewer of Left-wing hate.
What is needed is a decentralized social media. Someone needs to invent a social media that does what Bitcoin did to the monetary system and take out the centralized partisan controllers like Zuckerboy.
The FEC - federal election commission - should fine the tech companies for each act of banning a conservative that they do, calling each such act an unreported “in kind” political contribution.
