C'mon, all the democrats want to is ban coal, gas & oil; ban the internal combustion engine; ban cars, trucks, tractors, ships, airplanes, lawn mowers; ban heavy industry, steel production, manufacturing, mining, timber, commercial fishing, ranching and agriculture. No biggie.
We must do all of this because 'science' says if we don't, we're all gonna be dead in 10 years.
And, to prove they can walk and chew gum at the same time, they're going to ban private insurance and go to free government provided healthcare; give all people in the country $1,000 each per month; do away with our borders and allow all the people who want to enjoy our land of free milk and honey to waltz right in, no questions asked.
And, to fix our economy, immediately end all tariffs and trade wars (someone else is going to have to manufacture and produce everything for us anyway, even our food).
Oh, yeah, and they're gonna fix our roads and crumbling infrastructure nationwide (without heavy equipment, fuel, steel or paving materials), etc.
And we're gonna empty our prisons.
No biggie, but we're also gonna fine any corporation that pay women less than men. We'll also provide free abortions and free healthcare for women.
Oh, yeah, and cancel all student debt and give everyone free education from now on.
We'll immediately bring all our troops home and end all wars and everyone is gonna love us.
And we're gonna go to Mars.
And we're gonna sock it to the rich to pay for it all. The wealthy must pay their fair share.
Riiight.

The two hundred trillion dollars doesn’t bother me as much as the idea that these people don’t understand what it would do;
-We would either have to redefine “the rich” who will pay for it all as anyone who has a paycheck, or print money out of thin air as if that has no consequence...
—but anyone with a paycheck won’t need a paycheck, so why work
—The resulting hyperinflation would have people screaming and rioting for the government to do something to fix the worthless money, and that solution would require the end of the constitution
You forgot banning guns. That will solve all our crime problems too! (S)
