Next solar cycle should start around 2020. It is expected to be a dud due to (observed) lower plasma circulation speeds.

Don’t you know how naïve you are?

It doesn’t matter. It is climate CHANGE, not global warming.

Cold, Hot...luke warm. In the end they need more POWER and more MONEY to solve the “problem”.

Look for ice that doesn’t melt during the summer. That will be the base of the ice sheet.

Higher taxes to combat Global Cooling will do nothing. You may quote me.

It would be cooler but not as much as you think. To many drama queens in the press.

I think it’s started already. We had the weirdest winter ever in Las Vegas. I still see a little snow on the top of Mt Charleston. Nonetheless, Algore will sort this all out.

I understand completely.
I didn’t think it would be frigid!

Interesting factoid:

London is above any part of the US except Alaska. Could get really cold.

For a place that can get snowed on from October to May, it will be barely noticed.

Here is the paper from Valentina Zharkova. It takes into account solar dynamo and planetary positions. Taking all that into consideration, the next two solar grand minima extend from 2020 to 2055. See the paper at this link

Probably not the best analogy for the coming ice age, ie as in ‘toast’. Maybe popsicle would be a good exchange.
:)

Does this mean it will snow in the winter in the northern states of the U.S.?

From Robert Zimmerman’s web site Behind the Black on July 8, 2019.

Sunspot update June 2019: Down to zero again, with next cycle making an appearance

https://behindtheblack.com/behind-the-black/points-of-information/sunspot-update-june-2019-down-to-zero-again-with-next-cycle-making-an-appearance/

“How do we know this sunspot belongs to Solar Cycle 25? Its magnetic polarity tells us so. Southern sunspots from old Solar Cycle 24 have a -/+ polarity. This sunspot is the opposite: +/-. According to Hale’s Law, sunspots switch polarities from one solar cycle to the next. AR2744 is therefore a member of Solar Cycle 25. “

My cascade hops plants survive sub-zero weather here in the Rockies ... at least we'll have beer.

Like NYC, London will be under the ice ... like last time. Start worrying if the Gulf Stream ceases to flow north.
