A Brazilian steakhouse has apologized to law enforcement officials in San Antonio, Texas, after a manager asked an armed officer to leave the restaurant.
The incident took place on Saturday at the downtown San Antonio location of Fogo de Chão, during which the manager reportedly requested the police officer leave because of his gun.
"A law enforcement officer who was dining at our San Antonio location recently was asked to leave the premises by our staff because he was carrying a firearm," the restaurant stated in a message posted to Facebook.

Why hasn’t the manager been fired? That is the first step in the company apologizing. No one can claim ignorance in behavior like this.

Yes there are a handful of officers such as those in my family who support 2A freedoms, but there is no question about what side police leadership has been on since I was a boy.
They support the politicians ideas or they lose their jobs.
The idea that police oppose an armed citizenry is pushed and magnified by the media. (surprise, surprise!)
You are correct about the headlines. We are lied to regularly by the media. It is how they have controlled the nation for 50 years...
And then, there is Portland, OR, right across the river. The surrounding counties don't respond to Portland PD requests for assistance. I've bought two Chicago cops. There ARE exceptions.
I knew that was going to be your argument. And it’s incorrect. While police unions and fraternal organizations that have no real power put out press releases calling for gun control, it’s purely political. You only see the press releases that are anti-gun because that particular area is a democrat stronghold. The vast majority of cops on patrol respect the 2nd Amendment and like seeing law-abiding citizens exercise those rights. What we DON’T like are idiotic rallies where dumbasses strap AR-15’s to their backs and stand around with Don’t Tread On Me flags.
