Both Nazis and Communists seem to worship Nietzsche and his writings.
Nietzsche is the author of The Will to Power as well as the famous “God is Dead” quote.
His writings put forth the concept of man as superman / center and master of the universe.

One of my fond college memories was walking into a lecture hall early and finding "God is Dead . . . Nietzche" on the blackboard. Underneath I wrote "Nietzche is Dead . . . God"
The professor was NOT amused.
